Many Atheists neglect the fact that in the history of man only one nation has been scattered for almost 2000 years and been reborn.

I can explain the very sad story.
In 1947 the United Nations General Assembly decided the Jews had not suffered enough and the Middle East was lacking in religious bloodshed so they decided to fuck *everybody* by giving the Jews some crappy land that belonged to someone else.
Since then Israel has been enjoying life and war in the worst little chunk of shitty rocky desert on the planet, surrounded by people who hate and often try to kill them.
