This is not a virus this is the real deal. A company started selling open-source software on a USB key to make the AppleTV play other formats have new features.
In retaliation the key was leaked to the net. I think they tried to fight back by making part of the files internet hosted, so they change the hosting and post about it being a virus.
google atv patchstick and you will see what all the fuss is about. If you can't get the file here make sure you don't pay $60 for it, you can get it elsewhere.

It's true, this will BRICK YOUR ATV! There's more info on how this is supposed to screw your ATV on purpose , erasing the recovery partition and mocking you at the same time with a "Brick TV" logo. There is also a fix for those who bricked their ATV.
