No need for demo-key, patch does the trick..

DrYes (2008-03-04)

Any chance you can get your hands on the Linux version? Sure, I can cross-compile, but at some point, debugging at the target platform is so much easier.

Intimidated (2008-03-04)

I probably should have mentioned that this is the PROFESSIONAL version (of course)

om1 (2008-03-09)

works great !
but like DrYes said neone got a linux version?

runeforte (2008-03-12)

any chance for a mac version? thanks.

Intimidated (2008-03-13)

Working on aquiring a linux vesion. Mac users can suck my chode.

runeforte (2008-03-13)

macs are just bsd underneath you know. unix will be the first and last name in os, not winblows. so let's not knock our *nix relatives.

Deleted_screen (2008-03-14)

I love you! I've been stuck with 2006 r4 until you started releasing the new versions of RB!

Intimidated (2008-03-18)

runeforte, macs run a bastardised BSD with a fuzzy sugar coating known as MacOS. Arty types buy macs because they come in a variety of colours and are supposed to be "good karma", when reallly they're being ripped off and charged extorionate amount of money for antiquated hardware. Go buy a PC and run Linux. Any questions?

Appreciate it - am disabled hoping to learn new skill.

Try knitting?

Macs are great machines, yes there unix, but they also "Just Work" no questions asked...i use all 3 platforms, vista, osx 10.4, and fedora, and if i could switch completly to mac i would because again it just works, i have nothing but problems out of ati on linux, my mac? has a ati...no problems at all..why? because apple designs it to just work....any questions?

xXxVladimirxXx (2008-04-11)

oh and if you could get your hands on the mac version that would be great, and the linux version

reply to k0rfain:
look in the documention folder where you install RB and theres 3 books, quick start guid, tutorial, user guide and language....start out by reading the quick start guide, then when you finish that, read the tutorial, and then when you finish that read the user guide, the quick start and tutorial get you comfy with the RB interface and helps first time programmers easily start off..the user guide gets into programming concepts, and the language in general....good luck.

Hopeing for the Mac version took I got 2007 R5 for the mac, however its rather nice tho that most the projects I write can also be built into windows applications from the mac version.
