@houruoha: Just copy such incomplete [quark]s replacing the files from this torrent. IF you Stop already loaded torrent, file/folder structure could be seen in "Files" tab or you can open the torrent file itself in any plain text editor (Win32pad, Notepad) and "read" from there...
@sdcheeran: You've asked "does loading the new one help or hurt overall transfer speeds".
It depends on your upload/download capabilities. Only guys with rely fast connections can afford that. I can't. You cannot too. My general advice always have been to avoid loading of two torrents which are in initial-seeding phase (simultaneously). 2nd, if someone needs/must join to initial swarm AND have borderline speed capabilities (UL speed 35-50 kB/s) best and probably only way for avoid flagging as "leeching scumbag" is to STOP ANY OTHER torrent and left active only specific one, with speed settings on UNLIMITED (both UL and DL).

heres a tip i got from google-
if you wanna increase your seeding speed to help share data with others after you download: increase the 'seed while' percentage to >300 (its located in options tab, under preference/queuing in BITtorrent program) please seed after downloading as long as possible if you have unlimited internet data plan cause those of us with slow expensive bandwidth surive only when help us by seeding these torrents
