I have not downloaded this but my guess would be that they are not false-positives.
The solution: Sandboxie. Google it. This will allow you to run the (probably) infected keygen safely within a sandbox, retrieve a key and then delete the sandbox. The keygen never actually ran on your data and, if you care, you can even look in the sandbox before you delete it to see exactly what it did.
