My Antivir virus protection program detected the KeyGen as a virus. It may be a false alarm, but Antivir rarely detects KeyGens as viruses for me so I'm steering clear.

For keygen: Run Traction first time. Click unlock, register off line. Read paragraph and you will see a machine ID #. Enter name, email, and ID# in keygen, then generate. Click on file you just generated and your software should be unlocked now. Keygen is not a virus, took me a little while to figure out this process. Thanks to uploader, now just have to figure out how to use Traction

But I have no idea how to even follow the basic instructions given by swampownr1. It is because I don't Know what a rar file is and how to unlock. Great crack. Keygen was detected as a virus, but I think this was an error as the keygen still worked once I disabled my Resident Shield during the install. Deleted the keygen after install to be safe, and further virus tests showed nothing - so I'd say it's safe.
Hate the program but I need it for rendering audio files from my college's Mackie hardware recorder. And for that - this meets my needs.

The keyfilegen does work. And it's not a virus. While assholes from Hollywood and similar use DRM to locate pirates and then sue them for more money, hackers and crackers also use DRMs to protect their own work. And of course AV companies are being paid to scare newbs away.
But, this program has sa terrible UI and sucks, get MAGIX MM instead.

There's no virus. Upload it to virus total... the only AV virus total uses that says it's a trojan is some dinky AV I've never even heard of. All other AVs show it to be clean (I think 48 of them).
