Remaster of The Beatles classic "Yellow Submarine". Issued on CD, this is about the best you'll ever hear The Beatles sonically. We can only hope they re-issue their whole back catalog with this kind of remastering. Part of the TQMP. EAC - FLAC using Foobar.

Bah. This album sounds crap. I don't like the general sound they've gone for - very flat and lifeless (too dynamically compressed) and lacking character. Sigh - a sign of the times.

We can only hope the planned remasters don't sound like this (although they're only being *remastered*, not remixed in fucking Protools like this was). Fingers crossed. Somebody break into Abbey Road and uninstall all the digital compressors!
Note to ddirt80: This up is a REMIX, not a remaster. Hence the flat-sounding individual tracks (they were able to compress each of the four channels independently).

Don't listen to these people with 'tin ears'. I've heard all versions of this album and this is the best sounding one of them all.
Ive been an audiophile/musician/studio owner for 30 years.
