Why is this taking so long for the full album, the album comes out in about a week, and we would normally be able to get maybe at least weeks or a month before.

I'm choosing to not download this and wait for the real thing, cos this will only torture me more.
Though I did download the Snuff preview and I must say it sounds like Stone Sour on a quiet day... but in a good way ^__^
It's so close to release I might as well give up hope of a leak and wait for my pre-ordered copy to arrive.

It doesn't surprise me that Snuff sounds like Stone Sour. Corey says he wrights music all the time, but pretty much all he wrights is for Stone Sour. Corey is usually not involved in Slipknot's wrighting until it comes to the lyrics. Snuff on the other and his a song Corey wrote, therefore you can problably feel the Stone Sour-wipe
