I've downloaded multiple things never had viruses of any kind ever.....lots of false positives however. Antivirus software will often mistaken loaders or exe. files as trojans because they act the same but they're safe. If your getting a high percentage of your downloads turning up as trojans your antivirus is being overly sensitive

Just to clarify. Theres going to be real viruses out there for sure, but not everything will be truely diagnosed. You have to use more discession with the newer and more popular releases

A "false positive" is a truly rare thing, experienced crackers don't pack executables and experienced hackers don't release viruses with skiddy tools.
A "false positive" is now the most popular way to get around anti virus software.
