One of the best powermetal bands ever.Actually, the description is... well.. not incorrect but slightly misleading.
NR was death metal _before_ their first album.
Then they changed style and became power/speed metal, personally I think their early albums have some similarities with early Helloween.
When Jonny started singing with them, they became pure powermetal, as I see it.
In short, every record here is melodic power/speed metal, with very little growl.
(Right now I can only think of one song, "Cuts like a knife" on Grand Illusion, that alternates between melodic singing and some growl in the refrain.)
