Its a pretty good show took a little bit of time until I got into it but once I did it started to get really good.

Twilight has every sort of stereotypes. The only stereotype in here is probably the main male character, but all of the other 5 main characters are diverse and unique...

Thanks! It's been a long time since I've seen the first season and wanted to go back and renew my memory for the current season. For those who loved it - it gets better. For those who are little "eh" about it - it gets better. Season 1 was pretty rife with the sappy romance and shirtless hot guys. I cringe, but it was a little like Twilight in those respects. First season has also got a lot of bad CGI. There's still some pretty creepy stuff in there, like an episode where everyone is trapped at night. By season 2 it really starts to pick up. There's still hookups and romance for fans who like it. There's still plenty of hot guys/girls. There's also a lot more plot, murder, mayhem, and mystery. There's tons of supernatural creatures in the coming seasons, they ditch the CGI for make up, and so far they've avoided having vampires in it at all for much more obscure supernatural beings. It's free so what have you got to lose by checking it out?
