Garmin G2 Vision Chart

This is an exact copy of the information that came on my Garmin Bluechart G2 Vision SD card. The charts are for the Inside Passage of Vancouver Island, Canada. I copied this information to a new 1gb SD card and it does not work. One of the three files is a .unl file that contains the 25 character Map Unlock Code. Garmin G2 Maps come only pre-loaded onto SD cards and I believe the Map Unlock Code is created with the Map ID Code and the Unit ID of the SD Card itself. I am currently working on trying to find out what the Unit ID of my SD card is and then what the Map ID of the charts is so I can use JetMouse's Keygen v1.3 to make the correct 25 char code for the new card. I will keep posting what I find. In the meantime, can anyone with skill in this area please help and crack these charts?

How do I convert the serial number of the SD card shown in HEX to DEC and vice versa? The command "VOL" in the command editor gives the serial no DA33-FE29. What would that be in DEC?

The new Garmin G2 charts don't go into mapsource. They are only sold on SD cards.
Necessary SD card ID - necessary mobileXt read SD card ID!!

Ok, I got it to work.
What you have to do is to use the original .unl code that's included in the download PLUS your own SD Card ID code as well. I also used Jetmouse 1.5.

I guess the problem everybody have, including myself, is to get the serial no from the SD card, without using a GPS or PDA. Can anybody advice how to do it on a PC? I also tried chkdsk, but that s/n doesn't work, neither in HEX or in DEC format
