Description:

Kowalski, the hero of the story, works for a car delivery service. He takes delivery of a 1970 Dodge Challenger to take from Colorado to Frisco, California. Shortly after pickup, he takes a bet to get the car there in less than 15 hours. After a few run-ins with motorcycle cops and highway patrol they start a chase to bring him into custody. Along the way, Kowalski is guided by Supersoul - a blind DJ with a police radio scanner. Throw in lots of chase scenes, gay hitchhikers, a naked woman riding a motorbike, lots of Mopar and you've got a great cult hit from the early 70's. A NICE MOVIE INDEED. RECOMMEDNDED ALL THE WAY. I don't think it's poorly master at all. The voices are in centre and the sound is very crisp. Plus I converted from a 4 Gb DTS-HD.

Yep, the movie was recording in mono when it was first made, so, you'll never get to hear it in true stereo, or surround for that matter. Unless someone re-recorded ALL the sounds from scratch... which would be impossible to do, or it could be done, but would most probably create a big mess and lots of weird errors.
This is the censored version of the film. Which is a shame, really, because it changes the whole meaning and interpretation of the story. The missing scene is very important and holds a lot of symbolism and meaning.
If you want the UNCUT version, click my name or search for it. It's converted from DVD; but it's very high quality, with x264 and AAC.
