This is un related but i dont dont know where else to ask. my other pc's HDD has crashed and its still under warranty i want to send it in for repair but i obviously have copyrighted material on the HDD. Am i likely to get in trouble for sending it in? and if so what can i do to wipe the HDD. Any help would be appreciated

Cannot people just be honest, call it a TVRip, DVDRip, SCR, etc. when it actually is. I am tired of downloading 'DVDRips' which turn out to be SCRs or TVRips.

Joey: My advice would be if it does have copywritten material on it then remove it. Either take out the HDD or replace it; as long as that doesn't (and it shouldn't) invalidate the warranty.
Although I do not know where abouts you were going to return it and what the laws are in your specific country. I know that Gary Glitter was caught when he sent his computer in for repair at 'PC World' in Bristol and was discovered to have child pronography on.
