excuse my lack of understanding, I don't use these much; but what is the whole process?
Will this torrent alone make a playable game? Or do I need to download other torrents and then patch up? What order do I install, patch, crack, etc?
I can't even get any of these to start installing. Do I need to burn onto a CD? Or mount?
I'm sorry, the stuff I've downloaded usually has a really good readme and I can figure it out, but Im just not getting this one though.

When you meet youre sister in the game for the first time, after you talked with her you must run away. when im starting to run the game starts to get slow and you cant play it because the game is slow as hell!

I nstalled patch:

It didn't help anything. In the beggining of chapter 3 Faith is in slow motion.
When I'm trying to install this patch it says: "The patch could'n be installed because the newer patch is already installed". Have disabled PhysX in Nvidia Control Panel. No changes.

Known issues:
Chapter 2 Framerate issues: Uninstall and reinstall the latest PhysX drivers
Constant crashes: As above.
Chapter 4: Stuck in slow-mo, download and update the game to 1.01, and apply the new (fixed) crack in here. There was an updated Crack for v1.00 - for me it didn't work and the game crashd on startup.
PhysX issues seem to be more frequent if you have other games that use PhysX - word of warning that unless you update those games to the latest, it's unlikely they'll work properly (if at all) with the latest PhysX drivers.

Before I had used the THIS crack I've used

which worked great (and still does) until the part where you meet your sister for the first time and you have to run away from the cops. Everything will be in slowmo / 2fps then.
Any idea where I can find another crack that works/how to get THIS one to work?

This worked for me. I set to compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2.
Here is how you do it in case you weren't sure.
1. Browse to the Binaries folder in Mirror's Edge installation directory, it is (C:\Program Files\EA Games\Mirror's Edge\Binaries)
2. Right click MirrorsEdge.exe, and click on Properties.
3. Click the Compatibility tab at the top.
4. Tick on 'Run this program in compatibility for' and choose Windows 2000 (Vista/7 users can also try Windows XP SP2)
