Instructions:

Launch it using vmware-player or vmware-server
Choose 'keep' when asked about the unique identifier
Login using the root account
Run the command: export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib
Run the command: openvasd -D
Now you can connect using either the local client or a client on your desktop.
