Even with this "fix" applied the tutorial is still crashing...have not tried any campaign yet but I'm guessing that is no good either...

Hi! why does it crash when i klick the butten start ? so long can i go!.. i klick the game exe i se the cinamatic and all that! I choose a nation and i klick the button start and it download first but than when its download to half its just crashes evrey time it just goes grasy, goes up and down!! it just dont whant to finish the downloading the game to start!! @tomservo6 this release has all the other issues corrected, its just missing this one which fixes the crash further threw the game, probably a couple of other things aswell.

Hi! i downloaded the fix and i succesfully installed it. My only problem is that when i play a navy battle, where my reinforcements are coming and i click on them my pc crashes. Any ideas how could i solve my problem?

the fix didn't seem to do much. RTI still crashes at the end of episode 2. Very random c2d (about the same as without the fix)

and then it crashes back to the desktop...can someone please help me..i've played empre total war before here in my pc but that was a razor version.

OK guys, the problem is this...
at the first kaos release some files were corrupted.
here is what needs to be done
download the fix, extract it with winrar somewhere(not using their installer)
you only have two files.
now go to the archives of the game(which you downloaded) open kas-etw.rar
and extract from there the file named arc.dll
rename this file to dearc.exe
now copy dearc.exe to the installation folder, also copy the two other files you got from the fix
and open unpack.bat
then try running the game it should work.

THIS WORKS 100%
1. run the installer...(ensure no other applications are running) and install to any folder.
2. once game has finished installing, go to your download folder and extract kas-etw.rar
3. open and copy all contents to your game folder...
4. then run update.bat from your game folder
5. after all has been extracted run the game and enjoy!!!
