... Do you not know the meaning of 'source'? Source is where stuff COMES FROM.It CAME from something that was 1080p, and was encoded/compressed into a MKV file that is considered 720p.

This is a rather remedial question.How do I get MKV Files to play??
I cannot seem to get them to work. I have tried google, and downloaded some codec packs, but they do not work, any help would be appreciated.

@StockFrkUse a media player program like VLC, or KMPlayer they both have native support of *.mkv containers.
