hey me again but after the umpteenth time of trying to get this to work i have gave up i don't know if im the only one having the same problem but the the songs come up when you highlight them but when you get to the loading screen the game crashes are you positive you haven't missed anything out i even tried playing the sons on training but the songs die after 2 seconds and go to the menu i was relay looking foreword to playing this

snakkii when you make your new pack will it have easy med hard expert unlike with the dragon force songs that are on hard as well as the other metallica one that was just nuts lol playing with a keyboard don't work well with songs on hard etc but its plays well on med and easy but playing 3 notes at the same time don't work all to well :( i got the guitar for the ps2 ver but i am looking to see if their is a way of using it with guitar hero on the pc with a controller converter like the psx super box 4 that would be gr8 if someone made that work for guitar hero on the pc would work so much better anyway what new song will be in the new pack

this pack is so great, i will be seeding for a month.
Just a heads up, you have to extract the "PAK" folder in the guitar hero directory, there you have to extract the contence of the "PAK" file in the PAK folder. DO NOT OVERIGHT THE PAK FOLDER, only the others. really awsome pack guys, keep up the good work. AND make sure you have the guitar hero patch 1.1 installed.

I've already gotten this thing to work, but there are some songs I don't want. I have the songlist editor, but I can't pull up the songs onto it. What I've done is: I've replaced all the songs and music with the new stuff. I didn't replace the new .pak files, I just added them to the list. This is a great pack. I've been seeding for a while. Here's my issue:
I'm still getting the same Song list as the original game. I Install GH3, Patch to 1.1 then I copy the Songs and Music folder and overwrite the current ones in my data folder. Now this next step ive tried a few ways and nothing has worked. Ive tried to Overwrite the Pak folder in the data directory (Of course Ive backed up the files first). That didnt work. Ive tried to take the Pak folder, put it in the GH3 main Root directory, then copy the files into the data/pak folder... that didnt work. Im still getting the exact same GH3 songs as the original. Also, when I boot up the game, it does NOT give a warning that the save files are faulty. Ive backed up the save files, Ive also tried Erasing them... What am I doing wrong?

is, it should be at the following path (you can get to it through the Run command on the Start Menu in Windows):

I might be a total retard, but the problem I'm having is that I can't enter the cheat.
The game works fine, I can see and play the new songs, however there is only 16 of them, as stated in the .nfo. I would need to apply the cheat in order to see all the songs, but I can't. If I press Enter to enter the cheat, nothing happens. Any ideas?

OK... downloaded fine but it did take around 5 hours to get... I'm wondering if anyone here found a way to either install GH3 original and have this working also... This REPLACES original GH3 songs instead of adding to the list... SO... The only way I figured out to do this is to copy the Original Data folder in same folder... Rename it... Then take the files from here and add them to one of the data folders... if you wanna play the original, just rename the one folder with altered files to something like DATA_ALT and name the other folder to the original name DATA... Depending on what you play, just keep changing the folders before you boot the game...

DLed, installed, works like a charm. One issue, though - on all the tracks under "Bonus Songs" (all the GH2 tracks, I think) the vocals are much quieter the the instruments. The guitar, the drums and bass all sound fine, but you can bare hear the singer. Weird....

Did exactly as estated on your tutorial, the songs worked, ok.
Tried to revert the game back to the original Guitar Hero III by doing EXACTLY as estated on your tutorial and I lost all my saves and none of the old Guitar Hero III songs were playable, my list still had the GH1, 2 and 80's Songs even AFTER deleting the whole pack form my computer and guitar hero folder by doing exactly what you said.
And yes, I had backed up my saves before "installing" the pack and still lost them. Same for the 2 files on the PAK folder.
Conclusion: Guitar Hero III permanently uninstalled from my computer.
My advice is download this only if you are willing not to play Guitar Hero 3 on your computer without having to reinstall and start over again.

first off id like to say how good this is, the extra new tracks are cool, but two things, did you have to start the carear mode on such a difficult song? really is there anyone here managed to even get over 50% on the first track?
and second when you go into the store the game crashes pretty badly. thanks for you work, but really consider reordering the songs so people might beable to do the carear mode. ps ive only been playing this game for about a week, sorry if its just me moaning :D

Guys, this is not worth a download!
The speed sucks, it has no seeds and it just crashes the game. Don't waste your time.
