This is version 2. the updates include: 1. new chapter menu with 12 extra chapters for the whole movie 2. subtitles for 2.0 pink floyd track 4. 4.1 pink floyd track made from master tape (thank you whoever made it) 5. tigher chapters 6. now chapter select doesnt start with pink floyd, you have to choose it in the audio menu known issues are: since the master tape ran an extra 13 seconds they both arent sync with each other, i personally like the Master track over the 20th anniversary edition. its a give or take, you lose the money "ching" as you enter the color but you gain a tight sync up on alot of other Qs. so you choose. your vote will be what makes version 3 complete. Coming soon: (dont hold out on version 2, its gonna be a while before v3) 1. transision videos and music in menus 2. another rework of the chapters with a picture to go along with it. 3. DTS track (if encore wasnt so dumb) 4. better Q sync and subtitles

I have a few questions if you don't mind ansering:
1. I heard that the dvd releases of Wiz of Oz have cut out a part of the movie in which a man is supposed to have hanged himself in the background of the scarecrow scene, is this part included in the dvd? (i heardonly vhs has it)
2. What is the difference between the two versions sync wise, i would love to help you determine what to do in version 3, i couldn't really understand from your notes
I am dl v2 now but i have crappy dsl so it takes4ever to dl dvdr should i also dl v1 is there a big difference b/c i will get both if i need to
again ty for this, i always wanted to do this with the vhs tape and my dark side cd but the vhs of this are always in bad shape, but i must say i did see the guy hanging in the background on the vhs tape when i watched it, syncing the video with the cd is tough but when you r trippin balls anything looks like it is syncing :)

The legendary Munchkin suicide is a long standing hoax so no it it not on this or any other version of The Wizard Of Oz because it never happened.
There are a lot of rumors surrounding the making of this movie, much of it coming from Ms. Garland herself... any publicity is good publicity in the entertainment business...
