there is nothing dvd about the quality of this rip. the quality is horrible, plus it has a black border.

This is definitely a lower quality version. But in its defense the rip is only as good as the source. In the late 90s early 2ks there were lots of dvds of old movies released using the video tape source from tv stations that had broadcast them, which wasnt much better than a VHS copy. This one is only 352x240 (after you remove the black boarders) which doesnt help either.
That being said, the audio is fine and the graininess reminds me of when I was a little kid watching shows like this on the little 15" tv we had (Yes little boys and girls.. that was a BIG tv back then).
For Gary Busey and Raul Julia fans out there... OMG they look so YOUNG!
