Thanks for this. Only S08 S09 And S10 is in HD format, thanks to iTunes and other sources.
The older stuff is only in DVD format, best you can get. Some say parts where shot on 16mm others 35mm etc. Anyway the main reason that most of this stuff is not out in HD is because of all the FX stuff.
You can tell that some computer parts are upscaled to HD. But still much better quality than any DVDs out there.
Pleas do seed 1:1 as this is hard to find stuff, and you can not buy it even if you want to. Only option is to download, for now.

I don't even care about HD. I just want better quality encoding such as a higher resolution and better bit rate. Seems everyone likes to focus on smaller file size rather than quality. If seasons 1 through 7 were encoded from DVDs using a higher resolution then it would make for much better viewing of the episodes. Just rip the DVDs using MP4 or MKV with a decent resolution and I would be happy. Not that I am a complainer hehe.

Hello everyone. I am glad you guys liked this upload.
As far as seasons 1-7 in HD. It isn't going to happen unless the producers decide to remaster the seasons for blu-ray. You could try to upscale in a video conversion process but it would not look as nice as Zandoman is hoping for. It would create pixilization during faster scenes. The dvd versions aren't that bad if you get the actual dvd copy instead of other peoples formatted lossy versions. Even dvd resolution looks better in a mkv container. But that is just personal preference I think.
Otherwise enjoy These rare episodes in HD.

These were in 720p back in July 2012 on a Russian torrent site , but you had to remux and remove the Russian audio to bring down the file size. They were excellent quality. Thanks for sharing this with everyone here at the TPB.

This torrent is AWESOME but at this point very slow, so everyone who downloads it PLEEEEEEAAASSSEEEE SEED for as long as possible! I was able to download season 8 of this within a couple days but its been 12 hours & I've only been able to DL 0.2%. I found as many trackers as I could but if anyone has any other suggestions please leave a comment letting me know...b/c at this point it says I'll have season 10 in a little over one year, lol. THANKS FOR THIS SO MUCH THOUGH jmc302005! You right as popular as the show still is there isn't ANY other HD torrents or direct DL's of any seasons available except this one.

@firebred I tend to download a lot of full length seasons. One thing I have noticed about uTorrent, if that is what you use, doesn't like to have portions on skip or do not download. I used to get really slow speeds when I would try to download 1 episode or 1 season out of 2 or more, having the rest on skip. I found if I leave the whole torrent running and instead choose High Priority for the episode I want then I got must faster over all speeds.
I think the reason for that is...when you choose only 1 episode at a time with the rest skipped, you limit the amount of available peers for you. You will only connect to the ones that have the pieces you are trying to get. Therefore reduced overall speed due to less options for a high speed bandwidth peer.
I started to download this again with this torrent to check if I need to re-seed. I am getting between 1.5-1.9 megabytes/sec. And there are a total of 17 seeds 3 from here and the others dht or other trackers. So I think we are ok for now.

For those interested I have uploaded a 576i version of season 1. I think it is the best quality you will find. It was ripped from an original PAL DVD9 disc (meaning a region 2 dual layer disc). I forewarn though it is a rather large download for 1 season. I do not have the source so I cannot try and make the sizes smaller for you without quality loss. But hey when you want the best you have to sacrifice right?
I am also going to upload seasons 2-7 if there is enough demand for it.

Since this is WEB-DL (meaning it is a digital download from either iTunes or Amazon) it is only available as is. I don't think they have the extended version of the episode. Also if it isn't available with them, then there is no 720p version. The WEB-DLs are the only hd copies of seasons 8-10. They have never ever been released on disc as DVD-HD or BluRay. The scenes were not of importance anyway which is why they were cut for the syndicated version.

@ZANDOMAN You know that "HD" is all about the resolution, right? So if you want higher resolution then you do indeed care about HD. Also, encoding anything but the original resolution of the DVD would just be silly.
