It works which is why I'm sharing it. Unfortunately my upload speed is capped around 94k which is why it's taking long to complete the initial seeding. However, it's mostly crippled by all the LEECHERS not sharing what I've uploaded to them. I've uploaded 32GB and there still only 98.4% of the pieces out there. Do the math, it's a 18.4GB torrent and I've uploaded 32GB and it's not fully seeded yet. DAMN LEECHERS! :) Probably the last time I ever share out something this large.

I have a mac i think i have leopard but yeh... i got it recently so, but iv had it long enough to know generally what to do lol, but so its still downloading for me but i tried mounting the first iso to a dvd because i put a high priority on it so i could test it, so yea i tried and it wont let me open the installer... it says "Operation could not be completed. (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1.) Couldn't open "Superior Drummer Installer.mpkg"."
iv tried looking up the problem but there's only a few post of it around and they aren't replied with any solutions!!! so what the hells going on? has anyone else tried it on mac? (by the way you can mount the disk either just by double clicking on it or using disk utility to burn it onto a dvd)

This works download works for everything except for the ambient mics.
The only mics that work are the close mics and the Overheads.
The Amb Mid, Amb Far, Bullet mic and amb mono mic are all corrupted and do not work.
Is anyone else having this problem? Without this control over the ambience it is little more than a fancy EZdrummer :o(

The reason it is 20Gb in size is because of the ambience mics, and they do not work!! Trust me the only mics that work are the close mics and overheads the rest are corrupt and you get an error saying they are not installed correctly, even when you do a full sound install.

Keygen doesnt work for me. Norton blocked it a few times during the download, but I was still able to download it it.
May have to run it in safemode so nothing tries to block it, cause right now it jsut opens up a cmd prompt, but then closes before anything loads.

AMBIENT MICS - do not work! This is a crippled version of this edition.
The program works fine but ~60% of the download is pointless.
We either need a totally new torrent, or a new N.Y. Avatar soundbank torrent.

Total props to gastric, this is an awesome and worthwhile torrent.
The keygen works! for everything, mac or pc (I'm using it on both). Installation takes a long time and will seem like it has stuck, just be patient. Grab some easy drummer expansions (drumkit from hell, nashville, vintage, latin percussion, etc) all works perfectly, it's just the ambient mics on N.Y. Avatar, one of the coolest parts of the whole thing, that we'll have to wait on a new torrent for.

Other users are correct. The ambient mics do not function, I never noticed. The AiRISO copy is the only one I've ever seen via torrent so I'm not aware of how to fix it or how to get a build with working ambients. Regardless it's a great rock sounding drum VSTi.

AMBIENT MICS!
Here's what I did to get the ambient mics working:
Do an install with ambient mics. Upgrade to 2.01. Install toontrack solo.
Load toontrack solo.
Go to mixer -> then select the ambient track you want to enable (there are 5 of them) -> then click 'Edit' on that track and select the drums for which you want that ambient mic to be enabled. You have to enable 5 tracks separately to get them all working.
Then try one of the presets. For example Presets -> All Mixer -> Bulletsquash.
You wanna save your project so you can load it and don't have to do this every time you start.

if you do not know how to enable ambient mics which might i just through out is right there on the mixer and your going to sit here bitching about the fact that they do not work and that you are to stupid to try and read the manual to turn them on or actually play with the mixer to turn them on your a fucking moron.

It's not that they're viruses, it's that virus-scanners consider them viruses. (Maybe in an attempt to stop pirating)

For the 1,000,0000st time, this program isn't a stand alone program that you open as an .exe.
Superior Drummer is a plugin. So you will need a program like Cubase or Logic to open it in.

I do not know where to start with installing this program to get it up and running (pro tools). I figured that I would just mount the files, however they are showing up as rar files and I try to open with daemon tools and it says error in command line. This is unfortunate, since it took me forever to download (and I seeded for more than enough time to be considered fair). I've had this for a while and have tried multiple times. I can extract the files with winrar but that's about the most I can do :(

Ive gotten around this by using crossover. you dont need a separate disk partition like for boot camp and waste a bunch of hard drive space. then u can run all those .exe files for the keygens

my symantec anti virus corporate edition quarantines "keygen.exe" and says it contains a trojan. it DOES NOT find a trojan in this keygen.exe file which appears to be almost the same:

the file modified dates are different, with the one containing the trojan (the torrent i'm commenting on), having a modified date of one day later. MD5 hash check shows the files to be different. something malicious seems to have been added to AIR's original keygen. i would recommend that everyone replace the keygen in this torrent with the one in the separate link i provided. feel free to verify this yourselves.

I found a very round about solution to this issue. I went ahead and mounted the images with the latest version of Toast Titanium and noticed that the 1st disc appeared as being mounted twice. I went ahead installed Superior per the instructions included with the torrent and the Sound Library installed without a hitch.

All you guys asking for Authorization codes on Mac:nnYou need to take the .exe keygen that came with the software and run it on a PC. You enter your Mac ID and it provides you a Auth Code to then use on your Mac when it asks for it. There is no .App equivalent for the keygen... so just use the one provided to you in the torrent on a Windows computer to get the Auth code you need.

Well i downloaded this torrent but it only had NY.AVTAR,Cocktail,Pop/Rock but i was unable to load the main charm i.e superior drums! it asks to insert DISC 3 that is missing. There is NO mac key-gen equivalent.
So if you want to get any of your toontrack
products working you have to open this key-gen.
If your like me and you don't have a windows there is still a relatively easy way of doing this. You will need a virtual computer.
Hopefully this helps
1. download this torrent
2. this is a free software called VirtualBox

Use that software to make a windows computer
3. To start the Virtual Com you will need an OS
4. Some how get the key-gen to your windows
virtual computer. You could email it to yourself, use a CD, use shared folders... Something...
5. When you get the key-gen on the windows
everything is pretty simple so just get the code
and then enter into Toontack... Then your done!!!

Also none of the Superior Drummer Expansion's authorization codes work... does anyone know how to get the Expansions to work??
But I've had a couple different times where bits and pieces of the expansion packs were active...
- when I first installed the hit factory kit worked but then the next time I used it wasn't working
- once I was using SD for awhile and had Midi running with logic... I tried them and they would say that I need the code. After I canceled out I would hear that the kit changed dramatically (I think it was the expansions) But the picture showed the avatar and everything like normal.
- and then again I was playing Midi and I tried it... This time I could see and hear the differences between the kits... Except for my Midi controller completely stopped working with the software...
Just thought I would share cause' maybe others are experiencing the same and we can find a pattern... maybe if you do just the right thing it will work every time... Or maybe I'm just dreaming... haha :D :D

Let me try to explain this with a bit more detail:
1. Used Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel to uninstall Superior Drummer 2.0.exe
This, I did because I had installed Superior Drummer previously and the sound library wasn't working, so I uninstalled it.
2. Loaded Superior2 Sound Installer.exe without Superior Drummer.
Here, I went to disc one\Install\PC\Superior2 Sound Installer.exe, clicked through the steps. It will ask you where to install the drum files; remember this location for later.
3. Reloaded Superior Drummer 2.0
Disc one\Install\PC\Superior Drummer Installer.msi
After that, hit Toontrack solo Installer.exe in the same location.
4. Went to settings tab to set directories manually.
Once you're in Superior Drummer, and you can get there a number of ways--I went through Toontrack solo, but you can get there through your DAW as well--Go to the settings tab.
On the right hand side, you'll see a bunch of buttons with "Set" on them. Use them to navigate to the folder where you dumped the .obw files. Something like \Programs\ToonTracker\Superior Drummer 2.0\SL-Avatar\Sounds
The reason this works is because when you get the Superior2 Sound Installer.exe to run, it installs a bunch of conf files one directory up from where you dump the .obw files. In my copy of the download, these are missing and must be there, so you have to run the .exe.
Still, after all of this work, I can only get the N.Y. Avatar kit and my already existing expansions from EZDrummer working. None of the other shit (Ludwig, DW, etc.) would work. But since I was only interested in the N.Y. kit anyway, it was okay for me. But yeah, this upload is kinda flawed.

I Downloaded this torrent, followed the Instructions well and everything works fine... except for the Keygen. I use XP on Bootcamp (Mac) but the seriels the keygen.exe gives me do not work. I've checked several times my ID but it doesn't work. Any Ideas?

If you are having issues getting the keygen to run:
Close all programs running in the background aside from Toontrack superior drummer solo. Then disable your anti virus software(you may also need to add the keygen to your firewall accepted programs.). I promise the keygen itself is virus free. It's only detected as a virus because of the type of actions the program performs. Then insert tab A into slot b and repeat as necessary.(copy your comp id given to you by superior drummer solo, generate your auth code, and paste it into the auth code's designated slot.)

In the installer when it asks where you want to install the sounds, set the directory to

I suspect the people getting the "Failed to copy 'SL-Avatar/Sounds/soundb1.obw" error are maybe running Lion? The problem is just that the sound installer fails to create the directory. Either open up Application Support and create the directory yourself or choose another directory and it'll install fine.

turn off your virus protection, redownload the keygen. a lot of anti-virus software will either alert you that it's a trojan and prevent the download or just prevent the download. it's clean, don't worry.
also, if you have a mac, download wine and wine bottler, they allow you to repackage .exe to .app or run .exe on mac

Don't bother with this torrent.... Installs and activates just fine...but... It will NOT work properly!! It comes with sounds...but no midi groove files.. Trust me on this :YOU MUST REGISTER ONLINE AND DOWNLOAD THE ACTUAL MIDI GROOVE files FROM THE REGISTERED USERS AREA of the ToonTrack site.. Good luck with that..lol.. So basically you wind up with only the old grooves from EZ Drummer in your shiny new EZ Skin..If you have the time I guess you can just load all of your own personal midi grooves... OR- You can just download Addictive Drums which work perfectly... Just sayin'....

to EVERYONE:
- this torrent does work. if you install everything correctly, it is fully functioning and 100% complete.
- there IS a keygen. if you don't see it in the folder, disable your antivirus software and download the keygen again. AND THE KEYGEN WORKS TOO.
how i installed it:
1. run "RunMe" in the Superior2_PC_201 folder
2. mount "air-tsd2d1" using daemon tools
3. go inside the mounted image and go into Install>PC (or Mac) and install the Superior2 Sound Installer. IT WILL GUIDE YOU THROUGH THE PROCESS.
4. Once step 3 is completed, run the Toontrack Solo Installer.
5. Once step 4 is completed, run Toontrack Solo. This is where you will need to use the keygen. Copy your computer ID into the keygen and generate your code. Paste the code into the Solo window and it will authorize your SD2.0!
ENABLE YOUR ANTIVIRUS ONCE YOU ARE DONE WITH THE KEYGEN! if you are really scared of viruses, run scans after your product is authorized, but i promise you this is safe.

I did exactly as "maffew" said above, but when I try to open Toontrack Solo for step 5, the program won't open. I don't even get an error message. It just gives the loading animation above my mouse for a few seconds and stops.
I can't use the keygen if I can't open the program, much less use the program with my DAW. Any clues?

This torrent is 100% working. I've been using it for 3 days now with no problems whatsoever.
However, the instructions to this are extremely inaccurate and do not work. That is where most of the problems are that people are having.
Also, before anyone says something like, "JUST RUN DA RUNME.EXE NOOBS HUR HUR HUR HUR HUR", I will go ahead and say that the RunMe.exe installer would not work for me. It would open, install something, and then just close back off. So, I had to resort to installing everything manually.
Seeing all the people who are having problems with this torrent/install like myself, I have decided to make a step-bystep walkthrough on exactly how I installed it and have it fully working. I am going to try to make this as use-friendly as I can.
This guide is for Windows users only. I do not own a MAC and never will. That being said, let's do this.
First, you're going to need to Daemon Tools. You can get that here:
Follow the provided instructions on how to install that. It is very straight forward. You don't want the free one from the website because it installs a shit ton of adware/malware on your computer and you have no choice but to install it.
Okay, now let's get started:
Open the Superior Drummer folder and right click on "air-tsd2d1.iso" and mount it. After that, a little box with pop up and give you only one option: "Open folder to view files". Click that and explore the image.
Now there wil be several folders in here. Double click on the folder "Install". Now choose the "PC" folder. Now, I am not sure if the order of which you install things matters or not, but I will just use the order in which I installed them just to be sure. In here, right click on "Superior2 Sound Installer.exe". A box will pop up with install options. For me, I live by the motto, "Go big, or go home.", so I installed the 18g All Tools option. Whatever you choose, it may ask you to insert another disc. For the All Tools option, you have to use all 5 discs.
When it gets to asking for disc 2, go back to the original Superior drummer folder, the one you downloaded. Right click on "air-tsd2d2.iso" and mount it in the same location that you mounted disc 1. Wait for it mount and then press "OK" on the install. It should pick right up where it left off. You continue to do this for each disc it asks for.
Eventually, it will complete. When that is finished installing, Mount Disc 1 again and open and view its files. Install "Toontrack Solo Installer.exe." That doesn't require anymore disc mounting and should install rather quickly. Installation is now complete.
Click Start and find the newly created folder for Toontrack and run Toontrack Solo. A box will pop up asking for a key. When it does this, go back to the original Superior Drummer folder and open the keygen. Now, in the box that Superior Drummer is asking for a valid license key, it will give you an ID number for your computer. Put that number in the keygen. I don't think you can copy and paste it. You have to manually type it in. CAPITAL LETTERS DO MATTER AS IT WILL GIVE YOU A DIFFERENT, INVALID KEY IF YOU USE LOWER CASE LETTERS. Copy the Authroization number it gives you. That should do it.
You now have a completely valid version of Superior Drummer.
If you get an "Failed to load audio drivers" error and/or you have no sound when using the program, there's a good chance that you don't have ASIO drivers. Which you can get those here: http://www.asio4all.com/
Are there other methods of installing this? Probably. But this is exactly, step-by-step, how I installed it and it worked/works peferctly fine for me.

I keep on getting "Could not find the name file" error when trying to install the sounds. I installed SD, everything works well with my VST Host, but I can only use EZDrummer sounds installed few months ago, I wish I were able to use the new stuff. Tried more releases, but still can't get those sounds to work, still the same. I tried to copy those .obw files from dvds to HDD and then seek it with SD, but it says it is not a valid sound library, since it looks for the wave files... is there a way to unpack those .obw files or just install them correctly?

For everyone experiencing troubles with installing the sounds (be it either "Could not find the name file" or whatever else):
1) You may install everything you need first (SD, eZDrummer, Toontrack Solo, ...)
2) From the first DVD copy the whole "SL-Avatar" folder anywhere in your PC.
3) From all other DVDs copy those *.obw files into your "SL-AvatarSounds" folder.
4) Run your VST Host application and load SD.
5) In Settings panel select to set path to samples and load your "SL-AvatarSounds" folder.
6) Thank to the author of this torrent :D

I just installed and it works well only with the Solo Program, I think this is just the 32-bit version, so it does not make any sounds in a 64-bit host, I read that you need at least Superior Drummer 2.2.2 to get sounds in a 64 bit host. Anyone else run into this?

There is nothing wrong with the torrent. I recently reinstalled this on a new Mac. You will not have the Grooves until you 1) install and authorize EZPlayer and 2) do all the upgrades to at least 2.0.1 if not 2.2.3. You only need the first Avatar DVD unless you're going to do a complete install and I can't imagine why you'd do that.
Regarding keygens and codes, you need a Windows environment to run the keygen. I run it under Parallels. If you are a Mac user and need a code comment under this one with your email but I'll be expecting a donation via Paypal. Yes, an incredible $2.50 per code. If that somehow violates the sanctity of the Pirate ethos then I'm amazed there's a Pirate ethos. Put your machine ID and email in the comment and I'll contact you.

Ok so i´ve just finished installing this on a Mac running OS X Mavericks and it works perfect. There´s a couple thing i didm´t found here that heaped me so I´ll make you a guide to do it.
1. Run the dmg and install, then unmount.
2. Mount the 5 DVD (You can use Toast Titanium 11)
3. This is the most important one: OSX Lion, Mountain Lion and Mavericks DO NOT CREATE THE DIRECTORIES DURING INSTALL!!! This is why you get the "Can´t copy sound from DVD" error when running Sound Installer. What you need to do is go to your Library/Appllication Resource and create a new folder named Superior Drummer 2.0
4. After you´ve created the folder in your Library, now run the Sound Installer and select full installation. It should work perfectly.
5. Install Superior Solo
6. Run your host (ProTools, Logic, etc) and open Superior Drummer.
7. For the Keygen: Download Wine and WineBottler (google it, it´s free). Then right click on the keygen and select open with: Wine. The keygen should work perfectly. Authorize Now.
8. Update ( )
9. It´s done!!! Works perfectly for me.
10. If you want grooves, install and authorize EZPlayer

For those giving advice for Mac users to use Wine or other 3rd party emulators to run the keygen, that will only work with Intel Macs, not power pc macs. There is no program to run the keygen on a power pc like mine.

Thanks! I can get it into logic, and the registration worked. BUT it asks for the path to my library. My library is at Superior Drummer 2/SL-Avatar/, in there are all the .obw library files from the DVDs. I select SL-Avatar as my library path but it says "this is not a library"! What to do?!

...And yes I read all comments above. I have, like I said, succeeded with absolutely everything except for getting the sound libraries into superior drummer. The .obw files are in the right location, all there, but superior drummer says its not a sound library. ALSO WORTH MENTIONING I updated to 2.4 using the latest R2R release (packeted by Future Dada) to get 64 bit support. That's what got everything working. But sound libraries aint loading. Help is appreciated, and ALL MY LOVE AND RESPECT to the teams, uploaders and everyone involved.

Follow DeathGods128's step by step directions on page 21 (Win 7 64) of this torrent. Worked perfect for me, and thank you senior death god for your detailed guide.
This torrent installed perfect (Windows 7 64) and i have it running through cubase 7. However, i downloaded this torrent for Metal Foundry, and at first i could only get superior drummer to show the NY AVATAR kit. I tried using the Sound Installer to activate metal foundry to no avail (though this might be just me, kept saying it couldnt find the directory). If you werent able to load your specific kit, you can do it like i did below if you can find the DL-
Since i already had the other kit working in superior drummer, all you have to do is implant the files in the directory manually, and use the settings menu in superior drummer to load it. This requires no keygen or activation (assuming you already have used the keygen to open superior drummer and have it working, or have a legit copy and want to add).
- Download Metal Foundry (or other expansion) that you want. Link to Metal Foundry -
- Open torrent to view files.
-Assuming you have Daemon tools or similar ISO disk imaging software you should be able to double click the ISO to mount the disk image. Otherwise you can do this in Daemon tools.
- Once the disk is mounted double click on DVD1 folder.
- Copy the full contents of the DVD1 folder into- os/Proagramsx86/Toontrack/Superior Drummer 2.0/
- Do this for all 5 disks.
-Once the sound library is pasted in the directory, open up superior drummer.
-At the top of the screen, under the help button, click "settings".
- Then- "add folders to library"
- Navigate to os/Proagramsx86/Toontrack/Superior Drummer 2.0/Sl-Metal Foundry (the same folder you just pasted 5 times into the directory. And Kablamo. It works and shit.

Definitely took me a while to figure out, probably because im new to recording software and it makes it difficult to envision what you're doing when you dont know how the program works. Incase anyone is just checking in and wants to know wtf all the installers actually are to make your install easier
- Toontrack- this is the host program, this is what you'll be opening Superior Drummer into. Just to make it clear (as i had no clue while downloading) you wont be opening any program called superior drummer. That is going to be through TOONTRACK.
- Superior drummer is just a drum program hosted within Toontrack
-Metal Foundry- NY AVATAR etc- are individual kits, that are loaded into superior drummer, which is inside toontrack.
