there wont be any season 5 in 2009... only 4 episodes, perhaps the bbc will run the show in 2010 but there is no evidence there that's going to happen...mrdino2 (2009-01-04)
They're making four specials in 2009, with the first airing on Easter. My guess is that the other ones will be on Midsummer, Halloween, and of course Christmas.There is a sixth (or fifth if you don't count the specials as a season) season coming in 2010, they just announced who will be playing the Doctor (some fairly unknown bloke by the name of Matt Smith).
