Description:

Great classic that I grew up with. I didn't get a lot of the by-play and the ethical/personal decisions until I was older, but the action was always fun to watch. Sigh.... two duplicates for TPB in one upload session. This is also already here (sort of) but no seeders and in a much larger file size and of course more language and subs. Mine is the usual (for me) compact avi format but still two languages. I notice that the upload screen is not asking for IMDB, spoken and subs for some reason but I will list them in my little summary below. IMDB: A British army officer who resigns his commission on the eve of his unit's embarkation to a mission against Egyptian rebels seeks to redeem his cowardice by secretly aiding his former comrades disguised as an Arab. When his unit is overwhelmed and captured by the rebels, the hero finds an opportunity to return the 'feathers' of cowardice sent to him by his former comrades by freeing them. Written by Anonymous Color (colorized?), full screen, English and spanish, no subs, dvd, avi, excellent quality. http://imdb.com/title/tt0031334/

lol - I like the original B/W myself, but I'll take the film anyway I can get it.

wolfslair (2008-03-17)

No need to worry: The Four Feathers (1939) was originally filmed in 35mm Technicolor.

thanks, and for a 1939 flick you did an awsome job. video is great and sound is as expected. keep up the good work

criderman (2010-03-09)

Just to make it perfectly clear to everyone (though I do believe it was sarcasm) there is no "original" B/W version. There never was! It is and has always been a color film.

lol, gee, you have to remember i am an old fart. Saw this in b/w (no color tv for a long time as a kid) many times. Yes it was shot in color but it was still wonderful in on b/w tv.
thank you to everyone that helps keep things accurate. Truly appreciate the comments.
