No English version until January, AFAIK.
Can't get this to work. Installed Antistarforce correctly and it shows up in my devices, but no matter what, Starforce keeps popping up and asking for my serial whenever I try to play. I can use the menus but not actually launch anything.
It says the key has been activated too many times. Tried uninstalling starforce, blocking it with firewall, everything... that antistarforce doesn't work. They say it does on their site, complete with a list of games, but it doesn't work at all for me.
I plan on buying this and wanted to try it. If the English version uses Starforce, I'm just going to shoplift a copy. Fuck Starforce, and fuck Eagle Dynamics if they use that malware they KNOW everyone hates like the plague.

Yup, English version is CONFIRMED as using Starforce.
I already lost a brand new DVD-RW to Starforce when I bought LOMAC. Judging from their complete denial and lack of sympathy for people with hardware damage, I don't trust their claims of the "new" Starforce being any different.
I'm stealing a legit hard copy. I will not pay to be Starfucked, but will risk it for FREE. They lost one faithful customer... I'm sure more will follow.

Ive been trying my best to bypass this, but its hard to do so when everything is in Russian. Ive installed the drivers under device manager, and the words "FStarForce" appear under system devices, however after that Iam not sure what to do, the game runs fine but when I actually try to start a mission the Starforce dialog box appears and I get asked for a KEY, I tried using the key that that was in one torrent but then It says something along the lines of "This has been used too many times"
Is anyone here willing to give us step by step instructions ? Am I suppose to use Antistarforc5.exe ? If so, is there an english version of this executable ?
Look, im going to buy this game, even the russian version, its only 20 dollars, however the lame publisher is taking their pretty time to put it online for purchase. Its pretty lame when the customer wants to buy the game only to not be given the chance to do so.

I did it!!! I am god like. How to:
1. Uninstall starforce driver. Run:
*game*\bin\stable\protect.exe and select uninstall.
2. Install ASF driver. Go to Control Panel - Add new device - full list - install from CD - browse to dev000.inf.
3. Mount in DT 4.30.1 with turned on RMPS.
4. PLAY!!! No any checks of CD! :p

If it did and U use DT4.31 with RMPS, game (cocpit) should start. I use XP 32 bit. There are some rumors, that u cant launch it in such way on fuckn vista64

Hi guys, yes it asked for the key, but once entered it went t hrough and loaded up the game fully. Make sure you use the protect.exe and get rid of the driver first like started above, and mask sure you install ASF

I keep getting the "Too many Activations" Notice.
I can't see me messing the steps up... it's pretty straight forward.
-Double click "Protect.EXE in BS BIN folder....
-Remove Driver
-Install ASF, as stated, Restart ?
-Enable RMPS in Daemon Tools 4.3.1
-Load Image File for the game,
-try and play the game, it asks me for the key, i put it in, then it says too many activations.
This should work, did miss something guys? Does anyone have any more to add???

May be you use vista? Than I cant help. In XP I start mission and it starts. No any windows about key. Window cant appear if u delete SF driver. Are you shure that you have deleted it?

No matter what type of missions. They all should work. Well, try to start CD check. What kind of window appears? Key & activation are needed if you want to start game without CD. You start it with CD, so forget about key.

ITS WORKING ! with the help of Razdrakon... here's why its not working for some. If your using an English OS, an important step is going to come up, and instead of a word, it's all question marks "????????????????" i'll explain..
Double click "Protect.EXE in BS "Stable" folder....
-check Remove Driver, hit ok....
-Install ASF, as stated in earlier posts...Using Add Hardware wizard.
-Enable RMPS in Daemon Tools 4.3.1
-Load Image File for the game,
-Hit the Yellow Black Shark Desktop Icon, an activation Window will appear.
DO NOT enter key,
for peep's using english OS, you will see 4 row's of blue "link" type question marks below where you would enter your key. I clicked the second or third row, "i think it was 3rd row" of questions marks "which is actually the button (CD CHECK) THE ACTIVATION WINDOW DISAPEARS and the game starts to initialize... taking you on your way.
After this, the tracks play, everything is good to go.
It realy is a beatiful sim.

Sooooooo many people talked sooo much shit to these guys telling them that they'd never reelease this simulator and that they were "playing s cruel joke on hardcore simmers by saying this game was really coming".... fucktards.
Well here it is. Judging from screenshots I've seen this is the most detailed flight simulator EVER developed. I instantly started drooling when I saw how real it looks. It's fucking insane. The aircraft look indiscernible from real life for christs sake. Too bad it uses starfuck. I swear developers will never learn. I'm super hardcore into sims, but seriously, I cannot support a title that uses starforce anymore. I did it once and I'll never do it again. Starforce is UNACCEPTABLE and I will never purchase a product which uses it.

THis is how you add the ASF file to your System
Add New Hardware ---> Next ---> Yes, the device is already connected ---> Next ---> Come on in the bottom of the list, and choose the "Add a new device "---> Next ---> Installation of equipment from the list manually ---> Next ---> See all ---> Next ---> Have Disk -> Next ---> Add file dev000.inf.
In Device Manager (in System devices) should appear fstarforce.

1,Burne image on DVD
2,use Alcohol to mount it with RMPS emulation.
3,Instal game
4,Remove driver
5,instal ASF
6,restart and PLAY =)
If I mount image from hardisc,...same problem with ?????,???? again! So try burn it on DVD.

I CANT GET IT TO WORK!!! FUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!
My steps:
-Mount[magic iso) & Install
-remove driver
-install ASF from controll panel -add hardware etc...
-mount and start up. (Mounted with both Dameon tools 4.3.1 & newest and also tried mounting through Magic iso = SAME RESULT; FAILED TO GET PAST SECURITY!
Also tried burning mdf into DVD and running from DVD instead of mounting = SAME PROBLEM!
No difference from putting the mdf straight onto a DVD and mount them from DAMEON or Magic Iso.
Why is it soooo fucking hard? What am i doing wrong? Are all the other fuckers who get it to work only hired by DCS to hype this shit? Will it become like Flaming cliffs; Noone ever getting a pirate version going?

Burn whole folder I've downloaded from torrent..on DVD.
Mount image with alcohol from dvd and instal game from it.
remove driver, instal ASF, restart
use RMPS emulation.
PLAY! here is my icq: 196667037 if any problem.
I'm now playing campaign, simulation ..WOW!really good. Only my PC is little bit older =) AMD Sempron 2GHz 768MB RAM GF6600GE 128MB. Only 10-25FPS

For me it only worked like after I burned the image with Alcohol (Image Burning Wizard!!!).
Make sure you check "Burn RPMS to recordable media".
I've selected also StarForce for the DataType.
You will still need either DaemonTools or Alcohol with enabled RPMS emulation, I think...
Took a whole evening to figure that out.
Everything else suggested here wasn't working for me (XP32 (SP2)).

Since we screwed up and the copy protection was cracked I should point out that you can enable english tool tips for the cockpit in the options menu. Please buy the english version instead of torrenting it.

I tried burning with RPMS turned on before burning and the disc would not load. dont know why but my DVD would just blink and blink.
I burned again with RPMS off before the burn and the disc loaded and installed.
I installed,
removed starforce,
REBOOTED,
installed ASF,
REBOOTED,
mounted with daemon 4.30.1 with only RPMS selected,
started up and picked instant action,
then after fiddling around with the activation for 30 minutes, chose the link in the last paragraph (it took about 1 or 2 minutes with my PC doing nothing) and the game loaded wOOT!
Im not sure if the last paragraph's link was the one... but I think it is. I havent seen the activation window again to run the game.
I entered the serial the first time the activation window came up and got the "serial used too many times" message. the next attempts I did not enter the serial and clicked the first link (which gave me some error window in russian, the second link (same as the first), then the last link which after a few minutes launched to game.

Personally I think SecuROM is more annoying (doesn't like ProcessExplorer e.g.).
Current versions of SF don't seem to care about virtual drives and such.
TBH, most of us are bitchin about SF because it's really hard to bypass.

The install for the antistarforce drivers isn't really clear to me.

I'm on XP and that doesn't seem to match up, I don't have "Add new device" or "full list" ect.
I've tried "Add Hardware" in the control panel but that just brings up the wizard asking if the hardware is connected, not an option for full list and I don't see the option to install from CD or browse without first choosing what hardware to add.
Can someone please walk me through the ASF install step by step?
ps - Thanks, if this is half as good as the last Russian flight sim I played (IL2) I'll definitely be buying the English copy when its out.

To Acer: Starforce was a bad idea only for the fact that it was cracked so quickly. We understand that in time copy protection stops protecting. Our goal is to sell as many copies as possible before it ends up on torrent. Keeping all of this in mind you can expect the international version will have Starforce as well. We can't keep you from downloading it, all we can do is ask you to pay for it if you like it.

This is how i got it to work.
1. make sure no starforce drivers are on your computer
2. install game
3. install driver using windows add hardware wizard
4. launch game
Starforce should never come up if you installed everythign right, also you should download the starforce removal tool. XD

Also to add the driver for XP follow this.
1.go to the antistarforce driver folder and extract the rar file
2. go to control pannel and switch it to clasic view then click add hardware
3. Click next then after its dont scanning click yes hard ware is pluged in
4. after checking that and hitting next scroll to the bottom of the list to find "add new hardware device"
5. now on the next part hit "install hardware manualy
6. now hit show all devices and go to the next part
7. after its dont loading click the "Have Disc" button
8. now click brouse and find the dev0000 file that you extracted and continue to install the driver
After the wizard says your done right click mycomputer and click manage, search for fstarforce.

HOWEVER when i click it i only get another window with another ??????????????????? link, click it and i have 2 choices, click the upper which i think is "DA" and i get back to the start with the 4 ????????? links, click the seccond that i suspect stands for "NJET FUCKING VODKA" i also get back to the start.
If i click the fucking shit for a while it checks the cd, but comes back to "FUCK YOU!!!!!!" or "????? ?? ?????? ??? ??????? ??????. ??????? Starforce hasn't been proven to cause problems. Starforce offered $1000 to the first person who could bring their computer to their offices and prove damage occurred. There were no takers. I followed the steps, but it doesn't work :(
i installed the game, removed SF, installed ASF, and actually mounted with 'RMPS' only, with DT 4.30.1... the game launch, i click on "instant action", and a window of activation appears... But click on the 2 first link (??? in blue) doesn't work, with the 3rd i've some step, but the activation window reappears all the time...
and if i enter the key, i've the message : 'this key have....too many times...'
I'm on vista 32bit...
What's the fucking problem ?

the sim is definately worth buying. these guys put an enormous amount of work in to make this. Like any quality flight sim, they are the most difficult of any PC game to create and debug.
I really dont like starforce as it did mess up a DVD ROM of mine (GTR 1). I am glad to see the new version has taken that into consideration.
I will buy this when it releases. its good to have a jump on it to start learning things. I usually wind up being the guinnea pig and flight instructor for my friends.
By the way there are some training videos in english on the image.

One way to stop people using torrents is to make the game available for download. That was and still is my preferred way of obtaining BS.
I don't care for Starforce, I believe it's not harming your hardware anymore, however it is true that Starforce did actually harm hardware in the past with version 3.x. The comments about the $1000 incentive to go to Russia just to prove that are complete bullshit. Don't insult our intelligence by actually trying to make us believe that Starforce never ever damaged hardware in the past. You dissapoint me when you say that. But again, Starforce right now is not a problem for me.
And I must say it again, posts have been deleted at your forum.
1C/ED have really messed up this release... This game is highly anticipated ( Not in the least by your participation in development) And when you release it, it uses a protection that is already cracked on 20-25 other games. This Starforce workaround works on other games as well.. Stoopid choice..
And the whole world wants it, willing to pay for a russian download, and later on an english version, perhaps even ( like I do ) with a nice printed manual. And the only way they can get a hold of the game is by torrents... Aagggrrhhh the sheer stupidity of it all..

If ED would have made it possible to legally buy it on the release date all around the world (I mean the Russian version) a lot of use would never even look at a torrent site for download, and ED would have a lot more money.
And 3 months after you could release a international version with a nice printed manual and a lot of people would even buy it twice.

ok, so i have been waiting , as have many for this helo sim, i think it is totally unfair that the ruskies get to have it first. i have 40 pounds set aside for this game and will certainly buy it when it is released but to have to wait 3 damnd months after it is released to the russians taking the piss especially seeing how every pc virus i have ever had has originated from the soviet union. You still don't get it eh? most people here would have gotten the russian download over a torrent download that might, or might not work for them. And after the way they get treated on your forum STILL will pay for a legit copy whenever it becomes available. You just don't have a clue.. you're great at managing flight sim development, but as manager dealing with releases you are totally out of your depth. If you try to look at the comments made here you'll feel the sentiment that a whole lot of people would much rather buy a legit copy as opposed to downloading this torrent. And even after the abuse here by you and on the forums by your moderators.. they still only want the best for the game.
It's not the leechers here this time that are destroying the genre, it's the way this release gets managed.
Fortunately I have secured myself a legit copy.. :) Couldn't get the torrent to install. 2 more activations left.. ;)

If you guys made your own copy protection like every other game then we would buy it cause it wouldent have starforce. We would also be able to make backup copys of the game incase the CD scratches and everyone will be happy. Starforce does mess with your CD drives cause mine wouldent work and i had to reinstall the drivers to it.
Also we are not doing anyhting ilegal when copying a game. Selling it or claiming that we made it is ilegal but we are not doing that. There is nothing wrong with shairing games. It is the same as asking your friend to bring black shark over to your house and installing it.

Any ideas?
Also, if you want english menus, browse your 1c folder and look for a folder called RU (can search for it) and rename it RU1, and youll have english menus. (not everything will be in english).

the one thing that pissed me of was the fact that the russians got it first and the rest of us have to wait another some three months.
i have it now and to be honest will still be buying the english version when we"eventually" get it., just like i did for the other game i downloaded first, then went on to but 3 copies, costing loads of bucks.
as for starforce, that sh1t cost me a hard drive, from a legitimate game. thats a FACT. the engineer that tried to fix it told me that there was nothing physically wrong with the drive to make it fail epically as it did, when i mentioned starforce he laughed for a long time.......

Im on Vista SP1. I have mounted this thing on an RPMS simulator and installed as-is from the image. Uninstalled SF. Installed ASF. Click instant action, screen for the activation code pops up and I click on the 3rd paragraph click link. Brings me to another screen instead of letting me play. Putting in a serial gives me used too many times. '

YEAH WE COOKIN WITH GASOLINE NOW!!
Works perfectly in Vista Sp1. Heres how I did it:
1. Burn whole BS folder to dvd using Nero 8 at 8x burn speed.
2. Installed from the fresh burned dvd using both Daemon Tool Lite 4.30.1 (right click on icon in task bar, emulation RMPS, virtual rom and mount image from said dvd)
3. Navigated to C:\Program Files\1C\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\bin\stable and selected protect.exe and uninstalled starforce.
4. Rebooted
5. Downloaded AND installed new ASF driver posted above
6. Rebooted
7. Loaded up dvd on Daemon Tools using step 2 from above.
8. Went to instant action, menu popped up, selected the 3rd ?????? down. Did not ask again.
9. Tested
10 (optional). Navigated to C:\Program Files\1C\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\l10n, renamed folder RU to RU1.
This last step forces the GUI to be in english instead of russian. Thanks for the help!

Suntrace: It's people who torrent that cause developers to use copy protection. These people think they are owed something therefore they think it's ok to steal the software. I wasn't the person who made the decision to use Starforce. I admit that it was a poor choice. I personally feel that Starforce sold us a flawed product. Proof of that is the 24 hour period before BS showed up here cracked. We're going to be using online registration as well as other methods in the International release. This should stop the piracy so we can get paid for our product. The powers that be ignored the poll on our website regarding Starforce. I was given advice before the release about using some kind of online registration from some smart people in this industry. ED and I should have listened. Copy protection having been used in PC games as far back as 20 years or more.Back when pirating was not even an issue really.How many people have been ripped off by software via statements in advertising and on the boxes claiming things the software was not.I'm sure every consumer out there has been a victim of this at least once.I can count at 2 recent simulations that nose dived into the ground that ripped off customers and had zero tech support in the aftermath.Since you can't return open software your screwed.Best to have method to try before you buy.

This is "Janes Longbow2" turing into the incredible Hulk............ "Black Shark"
It's fantastic, the lighting is excellent, the graphics run excellent at 1680x1050, full widescreen support........... the sound is direct X 9 and 10. it's default 5.1 , sounds preemo but there are not alot of sound options, no biggie.....
I recomend that put the realisim option to "simulation" , enable tool tips, Max out graphics if you have an ATI X1950pro or higher, min 2Gig system ram for good performance.
Auto Full Engine Start, Left WINDOWS key + HOME , END for full shutdown.

Some help please help me, Ive done the following...
-Used a program to uninstall all SF drivers.
-Installed game with mounted image.
-Installed the ASF driver.
I get the home screen but it crashes after I try to do something and comes up with a key screen with question marks. Ive read other posts on how to deal with this but they don't work. Can anyone help me, thx.

It works, i just re-installed the game.. and this time, no activation.
My steps exactly, as i've just done them.. fresh in my head still.
-Install deamon tools 4.3.1 Lite ONLY THIS VERSION.
-Right click on Deamon tools in the lower right, click on RPMS, daemon tools icon now changes from Red To green.
-Mount the image, and this Autorun, install the game. Done... Fine...
-Go to "C:\Program Files\1C\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\bin\stable" click on the icon named protect, shape of a key on it, put a check in the box for Remove driver, and hit ok... a prompt in russian comes up, select the first button "??" which means "yes" you want to remove the driver... Done... fine...
-create a folder and unzip your star force zip file into a new folder.... so it's unzipped, wich it needs to be.. remember where this folder is, you will need to go into it and select .dev000 file when the time comes.
-install the SF driver by these steps, not hard.... go to (Add New Hardware ---> Next ---> Yes, the device is already connected ---> Next ---> Come on in the bottom of the list, and choose the "Add a new device "---> Next ---> Installation of equipment from the list manually ---> Next ---> See all ---> Next ---> Have Disk -> Next ---> Add file dev000.inf.
Now that it's added, go into device mananger, system drivers, so see if it's there, it's will be "Fstarforce" driver, listed with all your other drivers, that's if you want to check.
RESTART THE PC AFTER THE SF DRIVER IS INSTALLED....
When you get back to your desktop... click on the blue black shark icon.. that's multiplayer... you should make it to the multiplaer menu..... np.. exti.... click the yellow icon, startgame ... hit the middile icon, wich is instant action... see if it works...which it should if you have followed my instructions.
For english menu's, key commands and options, do this...
rename this directory
Program Files\1C\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\l10n\ru to ru1
Start game, and english menus, settings, etc.
Enjoy !!!!!!

Everyone that is having a problem i recomend that you unplug or disable the driver to your ied CD/dvd drives. After you disable the driver for them or unplug them you can try again. I have a samsung cd ied drive is it works with the antistarforce driver so i can play the game but i guess if you cant get in it its your drives.

Man why are so many ppl having problems cracking this it's soooooo easy. This crack works 100%
1 Download and install Daemon tools lite.
2 Enable RPMS emulation.
3 Mount MDF image onto Daemon tools lite.
4 Click Start>Control Panel>Add Hardware>When the hardware wizard opens up click next>Make sure the radio button that says " search for and install the hardware automatically" is selected and then click next. After the hardware wizard finishes scanning click the next button then click next on the next tab that appears now click on the have disk button and manually navigate to the "antistarforce crack" folder and double click on dev000 file.
5 Log off then log back on.
6 Play!!!
FYI: You dont need to enter a license key! when asked for a key click the middle button when three buttons appear. You dont need to delete the original starforce driver. Keep the game mounted on DT whilst you start the game up for the first time. Having the image file on your HDD has no effect neither does having a Ripped hardcopy in your Drive.

Urghh it just doesn't work for me. I'm following the EXACT instructions written here.
Here's what I did.
Mounted the MDS file with DAEMON 4.30.1
Installed
Went into the BIN/STABLE folder and ran the SF exe and removed the SF drivers.
Went into control panel, --> add hardware --> went through to "Have Disk" and selected that INF file. Installed FStarForce.
Rebooted
Mounted the MDS file again
Clicked Instant Action, it closes and I get this:

And it just keeps looping. I can't get past that part...

Most people don't respond with fluffy kittens and bunnies when you steal their intellectual property, doubly so when it's a small game firm like Eagle Dynamics is, with such a tight nit community. I doubt EA would even take a hit in their wallet if a game is pirated, but ED releases very few games in a given year.
As soon as ED will take my money for this game, it's theirs. I don't like the fact that the electronic distribution was yanked from Western clients, that wasn't ED's call, it was the publishers. Also the fact that BS isn't coming out in the west for a few months isn't ED's fault either, licensing/rating takes time, and for a firm like ED, who are based in Russia (speak Russian as a primary language) they don't fucking owe it to you to code shit in English so your dumb ass can play it first.

I had a problem where the game wouldn't start, and had to reinstall to fit it....only after I reinstalled I kept getting Starforce errors and it wouldn't take the crack.
After 5 reinstalls and just random clicking, and then a bluescreen/restart it now works XD

The winscreen wipers dont reset to there orginal position blah blah blah.
The most dumbest AI in any sim ever anyone? Dont worry you cant fail to kill ground units because the AI is was programmed by Stephen Hawkings himself. No Dynamic campaign anyone? 3 activations on the SF protected retail DVD anyone?.

Play it and decide for yourself. TBH I like fast movers! helis & A2G are just wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too slow and mundane! that and a mix of dumb AI just isn't doing it for me. The only thing I'm enjoying is learning the start up procedure, weapons and nav systems dont get me wrong it's not that I cant fly the Heli I'm already flying decent circuits. But I'm too used to LO. BS feels like I'm in LO but with a Cessna lol and I just cant adapt to that.

Check some WW2 Strafing vids, they even bounce of grass when they strafe German Airfields. I think thats normal "bounce" behaviour.

I wont buy this game I just cant give my money to ED TBH I'd rather burn it before I give them a penny. Logan 30mm AP/HE rounds will deflect off Armour but not the ground well not like that anyway. I personally think its scripted as in any rounds hitting within a 10 meter radius off the target will deflect outside of that they dont.
Dandy I've never seen 30mm HE & AP rounds bouncing a couple hundred feet off mud if you can show me that I'd be impressed also the deflection of the rounds just dont look right. After you fired DCS:BS up I'd be intrested to know what you think.

So I followed the tutorial video.
I click on the middle button, it waits a bit and then gives me another window with 4 buttons. I tried everything, and it just doesnt appear as though it is cracked.
What did notice though, is that there are no SF drivers installed, no .sys files, no registry entries. I tried using protect.exe to update, but it doesnt appear to do it. I am also getting BSOD randomly when trying to run BS.
I have tried installing and starting BS with admin rights, and updating SF with admin rights, and it just doesnt install SF.

The game is easy to install if you just follow the instructions from an earlier page carefully. For Vista you might have to read more these pages though.
I doubt there will be a translation of the game itself though. But the multi language version should be released soon anyway. I will wait for that because playing this Russian version is pointless for me.

finally had time to try it. I love it, but im a rotorhead to be honest :) Okay some stuff is still old and you can see Lockon in it. Still, the flightmodel is awesome, especially with winds and in the hills/mountains. Although you are right with the 30 mike mike bouncing from ground. Anyway, i think ED is on the right way, hopefully they will make some steps forward with the next modules. Will buy it as soon as its avaiable here.

It seems there is a 'reason' why ED is going to be pushing the english demo out as soon as possible. I finally Got it. I had no luck with Vista 32. I set up another hard drive with xp sp2 for shitz and giggles. This is what i did.
I mounted my image via daemon 4.30.1 using only the RMPS option. I also changed the dvd region to 5 *Russia*. I used nero to make a dvd copy. Once the burn was complete i ran Black Shark installer program off the NEW dvd hardcopy. Once i was done i was able to double click the new desktop icons *blackshark of course* and that brought me directly to the games main menu. After a quick victory dance i went back in and changed the Ru to Ru1. LIFE IS GOOD.

the crack is a driver that has to be installed in the PC. At the moment this driver is downloadable from a russian site(use ggle translation) but works only with 32 bit OS, for the 64bit it has not been coded yet. I don't know if those Russian friends will code the 64, but for now the 32 works very well. So if anyone wants to play the russian version has to use XP 32 bit, 4 hours of work to install it...8 hours to patch it :D...and then finally play... bye
P.S.:I think that this game should be buyed because it's very beatiful and sofisticated, it's not an Action Shitty Game. With our money then we probably could finance further expansions like AH-64D or similar

Tips...
After installing the driver and game you will have to mount the game in RMPS to use it. You cant get rid of the ISO file cause every week the starforce will come back to check. If the game comes up and you have a menu that looks like starforce then you mest up and you will have to exit, unmount, and remount in RMPS then play again. After starforce has been broke you can run for a week with out using the ISO.

Hey guys. So I have everything working, well mostly. I've patched it to English and there is no longer any Russian text in the game. However, when I start the game in singleplayer mode, the background is white, there are no labels for the menu buttons, and no information is displayed in mission briefings. When I go into multiplayer, everything is just fine though, it only happens in singleplayer mode. I've looked through the comments on this torrent and others and can't find any answers. Any thoughts?

Ok, nvm found a solution. It was a problem with ATI's graphics drivers. I have a Radeon x1950 Pro and all I did was rollback my drivers to ver 8.12. Everything works just fine now. Hope this info helps someone else.

Working sim on Win7 64bit, TrackIr, no driver hacks. Used Daemon Tools Lite 4.35.5 to mount Russian image.
The sim is amazing, I will buy it the moment ED removes StarForce, but I refuse to install DRM and activation-limit copies on my machine. If I pay for SW, I should not need anyone's permission to reinstall it after HW changes. ED evaluates new activation requests on a case-by-case basis, that is completely unacceptable to me. Remove DRM = +1 customer.
1. Install DCS Black Shark English version
2. Backup the following folders: [BlackShark], [FUI], [l10n], [Missions], [Sounds].
3. Uninstall DCS Black Shark English version.
4. Install DCS Black Shark Russian version.

5. Back up [Ka-50]/bin/stable just in case you need it later.
6. Install DCS Black Shark No-CD crack to bin/stable (from either one of the following links).


7. (Optional) Lanch Russian version of sim to confirm correct installation. Click on birds icon on left to launch some tutorial. If it starts, you're good to go.
8. Delete or rename the following directories in current Russian install: [BlackShark], [FUI], [l10n], [Missions], [Sounds].
9. Copy the english version directories from step 2 to replace directories removed in step 7.
10. Rename [Ka-50]/l10n/ru to [Ka-50]/l10n/ru1. This is important or your menus will remain Russian.
11. Create shortcut to [Ka-50]/bin/Launcher.exe, and set Start in directory to [Ka-50] (otherwise it won't find BlackShark directory by default).
12. All English sim, including menus, tutorials, sounds etc. Click icon to launch sim.
If you followed the steps you never get asked for CD key, and you don't need to install/uninstall StarForce. If you run 64bit OS, you cannot install anti-StarForce drivers (yet), therefore don't waste your time trying to apply patches.

thndr I am using windows XP and i did exactly as you say.Everything is cool exept the last step.What do you mean by "set Start in directory to [Ka-50] (otherwise it won't find BlackShark directory by default)." because i try this it give an error wich says that the file or the path is not valid.Please if you can answer because i am too close to play this sim!!!!!!Is it working only in windows 7?

Im getting crazy everyone tell you something else how to do, i dont finish and get done to play BS.
I did install english bs version backup the folders [BlackShark], [FUI], [l10n], [Missions], [Sounds] and the lua.exe and lua dlls
i deinstall english bs
install russian, i replace everything.
i rename [Ka-50]/l10n/ru to [Ka-50]/l10n/ru1
and i dont know what to do then i wil get a error if i start the launcher
it says,: Cannot open .blackshark/blackshark.lua no such file or directory
help please?
