HELP ive got a problem with the game menu. everytime i launch the game everithing goes fine until the menu comes. i can see the background and black cube but i cant see the options like new game and gredits and exit aso. why cant i see them??? when i move the mouse i can hear the sound that there is something but i cant see it. have someone had the same problem and what is the solution for that? by the way i have xp sp3, radeon 9550, 521 MB RAM, 2,8GHZ.

My computer is AMD Athlon 6000+, 3GB ram, nvidia 9600GT 512MB on Windows 7 ultimate 32bit ( x86)
Install the game using a virtual DVD ( I use powerIso) then go to patch it and then to use the crack = go to C:\Program Files\Starbreeze Studios\Riddick EFBB and backup the system folder (copy and paste) then go to vitality crack and copy and paste all Win32_x86 folders in the system folder to the other. Windows 7 or Vista will ask if you want to merge files you say yes.
*XP you will have to manually go inside all Win32_x86 folders and exchange the SbzEngine files.
Then you double click to run the game. It is possible that it refuse to start. Just double click again and this time it should work as it work for me.

I saw a black cube instead of the menu after starting the game. My computer is AMD Athlon 3200 +, 1GB RAM, ATI Radeon 1650Pro. Were installed driver Catalyst 10.3. Solve the problem helped OmegaDrivers (http://omegadrivers.net/). Menu fucking good, the game is run at least because of him. =)

I've bought the the Dark Athena version but just can't stand all the shiny shaders they use in the new version. So I came here and got the old one :)
And it always crashed on startup :(
But, I found a solution! o/
In order to get it working with Windows 7 64 bit, newer nVidia card, etc follow these steps:
1. Download nVdidia Inspector
2. Go to game profiles (small screwdriver button to the right of "Driver Version" field)
3. Locate "The Chronicles of Riddick" profile (should say "sbzengine.exe" in the green bar, that's the file that activates the profile)
4. Scroll to the "Common" section and find the "Extension limit" property. Set it to "0x00001B58 (Hired Team, Quake3, Quake2, Dark Salvation, Heretic II, Quake, Star Trek Elite Force, Hexen II, Kingpin)"
5. Apply changes
6. Enjoy!!!

I recommend starting the SystemWin32_x86_SSE2SbzEngine.exe directly.

I've spent whole two days trying to run this game, downloading different torrents, applying cracks and so on.

So did as you've said. Downloaded Nvidia inspector but... THERE WAS NO PROFILE for Chronicles Of Riddick or sbzengine.exe.
So I've created a new one. Named it sbzengine.exe. And made the change you've said.
The change is that now I can run Riddick from the Win32_x86_SSE2 folder but... after a while of hope (the riddick disclaimer shows up)... it goes back to desktop with the microsoft visual c++ liblary runtime error:

Maybe I should set some settings in the newly created profile for sbzengine.exe?
PLEASE HELP!!
