Tigger84, you need to overwrite the original exe from the TSBin folder with the crack file to make it work.

Just copy the files from the crack folder and paste them into your installation folder, overwriting the original ones. Hope it helps.

Wow, this file sucks for instructions. I am used to doing hacks and stuff, but this sucks. Usually a folder named "Crack" would help. But this just has the CD4 Exe, CD keys, and the discs, and the discs have no crack in it.
Need way better instructions than patch the crack (which doesn't excist) to the installation folder you idiots.

3. Run Through Setup And For The Serial (Showed In Torrent) Put "THA2-Z3FK-OR1A-3HZ4-2WUS"

Just Go To The Iso And Add It And Then Double Click It

Works perfect if you know what you are doing. You have to install the original Sims 2 first, which consists of the 4 discs. Then you can add this expansion which has two discs and a crack. Thanks. Perfect Torrent. Go Mitt Romney.

But, if I understand it correctly...I have to crack the last expansion I install, right?
for example, if last expansion in my case is Bon Voyage, I just crack that one to make things work or....am I being stupid again? o.O

Okay. So crack only goes on last expansion that I install. I'm glad I'm not losing my touch with cracking and installing games. :3
I'm still waiting for other expansions. I don't want to install Sims 2 without installing expansions that I'd like to have. :)

Okay, so today I decided to install this expansion and had no problems with it.
First you need is to install Sims 2 (base game, in case you didn't know) and don't crack it. Just mount cd1, then cd2 until you reach cd4. Then you don't launch the game, you just unmount everything.
Then you mount cd1 (of the expansion) and then you mount cd2 when it asks.
After that, it will tell you that it needs update it, so you mount cd4 of Sims 2 (base game).
Once that is done, you don't launch the game, you unmount it and copy crack Sims2EP4 to TSbin (where your expansion is installed.)
It asks you if you wish to overwrite, you say yes and that's it.
If you want to play, you mount the cd1 of the expansion with daemon tools.
Very simple and easy. I had no problems with it. _>
So, this is the easiest installation of all times. :D
I just need other expansions, as I had listed them previously. :3

I'm getting close, but I need help. I successfully mounted and installed both "discs". I now have "The Sims 2 Pets" icon and "Sims2EP4.exe" icon on my desktop. When I try clicking the first one it says to make sure the disc is in the drive, and I make sure its mounted. When I click the second one, it opens my Sims 2 and then shuts down when I try getting past the intro vid. From the other comments, it seems like I need to put this exe file somewhere, but where and how? Detailed instructions please, thanks. Btw, my Sims 2 is Double Deluxe.

From what I understand, you did successfully mounted both discs and installed the game, yes?
According to this description, it seems you didn't crack the game.
After the installation, you unmount the discs and open the folder "The Sims 2 Pets+Serial+Crack" In that folder you have a folder name "The Sims 2 Pets", Serial written in Notepad and icon "Sims2EP4". That icon is the crack, you copy it to (D:Program FilesEA GAMESThe Sims 2 PetsTSBin) or in default version (where your expansion is installed on C drive - I don't remember the right path, since I never install games on C drive, as it is used for Windows only. I install games on other hard drive that I have. As you can see, in my case, that's D drive.) It will ask you if you wish to overwrite and you click yes. Then you open Daemon Tools and mount CD1 of the Pets Expansion and it should let you run the game. It works for me, as I had tested it out. :)
Be sure to tell us if it worked. And if I'm wrong, you are all free to correct me. :D

Hmm...I'm not sure about this. Maybe it is asking you to mount CD1 of the Pets expansion. If it's not that, then it usually asks mounting CD1 or CD4 from base game, if I recall correctly, cause in my case, it only asked me to mount CD4 of Base game. After the update and all that...I was able to run the game by just mounting CD1 of Pets expansion.
If it still doesn't work, I'll see if I can find iso. files of my Base game copy I got from friend of mine. I'll have to look around. Let me know if the problem persists. :)

Hey so i cracked both sims 2 and sims pets, now when i try to run pets it loads up the intro movie and then freezes. did i do something wrong? is this crack incompatible with my version of sims 2? was i not supposed crack both games? what did i do wrong or how did any of you get this to load up properly?

Probably it's not a problem with the crack, but with your system specs..or maybe an corrupted install
