in interviews they said they probably weren't going to do more after the second season, as far as the HBO series goes. they wanted to end it while it was good, so they don't run it into the ground. quality over quantity.

thanks! wonder if they still going to make another season, since they were struggling to write new songs for season 2 because they used most of them up on season 1!

Thanks for this. I also read on wikipedia in the past that the duo said that this was going to be their last season, as the second season was completely new material, however it has been since updated saying that the producers at HBO are ready to go ahead with season 3, and they are just waiting for Bret and Jemaine to agree to it. Here's hoping they go for it!
