SpotSave for Spotify ================================================================================ Readme notes updated on 2009-01-29 Brief ======================================== SpotSave enables you to save the streaming Spotify audio tracks with maximum quality. Notes on usage ======================================== Start SpotSave before or after Spotify, it doesn't matter. SpotSave is smart enough to know where tracks on the wire begin and end. Feel free to change track, or to scan forward/backward in Spotify even when you have SpotSave loaded. SpotSave will notice these events and discard the track currently playing. SpotSave will ONLY save full tracks to disc. Details ======================================== SpotSave saves the same audio stream that goes into your Spotify client, straight from the source. This completely avoids any degeneration of audio quality that would result from capturing sound output. It goes like this: 1) Music stream ==> 2) Spotify decode and normalize ==> 3) Sound output SpotSave is able to hook into the flow right before step 2 and grab the original stream.

Spotify has banned this program, so it doens't work anymore...Download Audacity instead
