It was a novel - a work of fiction - with some historical events put into it. But everyone thinks it's the real thing - that everything in the movie actually happened. They show it to school children for history class! And the fact that even questioning the holcocaust can get you thrown in jail for three years! Just google "Holocaust deniers in jail". Sure Zyklon B is a pesticide. The cide in the name should inform you that it kills things that are alive. It was used for many purposes. From killing rats to bug infestations. When you use a chemical to kill people it becomes a chemical weapon. Doesnt really matter if its a blood (like the chemical mentioned) agent, a blister agent, a choking agent or a damn nerve agent, the end result is the same (with various degrees of agony attached).
The Nazi's caprtured my grandfather in WW2 and the only reason he survived it was because a German officer let him and several other Brit soldiers escape on a march from one camp to another (the rest off the poor folks on the march were executed on route which is why the officer let them escape. Moral of the story? Not all germans in WW2 were sick'o's.

I think this whole discussion about which country did more than the other is crap. Every country did what they could to stop the nazi's, but some countries had more assets to do so.
I'm getting tired of Americans that saying they won the war on their own. Ofcourse their contribution to the war was big. They just had time to prepare them self for war then europe did. But this is just my point of view, i'm not saying this is true (!).
As for the smaller countries like Belgium, the netherlands, luxembourg, denmark, etc. They could only do so much because if you compare them to france, USA, russia, UK with its colonies, the bigger countries have much more industrial capacity and manpower to fight a war, heck even france surrendered because they were unprepared.
Which brings me to another point I want to duscuss. Countries like the USA, Canada, Australia, Japan were shielded by an ocean And we all know that germany didn't have a huge navy like the UK and the USA. The fall of france only happend because they were on the mainland against a much more advanced enemy and they were unprepared. heck, even the USA needed 2-3 years to build up it's army let alone europe needed 6 months before the phoney (spelled right?) war was over with the attack on the low countries.
My point is, amphibious landings were just on the rise which is why the uk was still in the war. They had larger navy to protect the channel. France did too, but they were on mainland europe. So saying that America did most of the fighting because they had more number to put into the fight is ignorant and bullshit, because they had more time to prepare them self. They entered the war in 1941 dec 7 (right?) with pearl harbor. They got active fighting for the first time in 1942 in guadalcanal and in 1943 in north africa. If you know that the war started in 1939 which is 4 years of building up a military force large enough to fight against japan and germany.
As for the fact that the USA did sent equipement to the UK and the SU and any other country included in the lend and lease act, I'm very sinical about the intentions. The USA just had the great depression so it would be in their best intrest to lend equipement to keep the UK into the war which in turn will give the USA the oppertunity to build up it's economy by creating more jobs in the factories for its people. Not because they cared about europe at all....

Some minor corrections:
The US was performing bombings prior to Dec , 1941 out of China with their Flying Tiger unit. Also prior to Pearl Harbor, the US was blockading Japanese shipping ports. Japan was 99% dependant on imported oil. Senior advisors to the president wrote a report detailing how to get the US into the war. The two things I mentioned were tops on their list.
The Nazis had jet air planes in 1941. They had rockets that were far superior to anything anyone else had (just to name a couple). Hitler's problem was simple, the bankers cut off his money. They could not produce. Henry Ford went to Nazi Germany to recieve awards from Hitler. Ford had 11 plants producing mostly military vehicles. GM had an Opel plant producing army tanks.
Hitler's extermination plan came from americans also. He gave awards to Margret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood) who praised Hitler then later said that he moved too quickly.
Prior to WWII, only the top 1% were taxed in America. The income tax was jacked up to pay for WWII and we are still paying for it today. We owe this debt to these bankers and the debt can never be paid off.
Do some reading on the "Trading with the enemy" congressional hearings. Prescott Bush - three felony convictions.

The witnesses, like Wiesenthal and Wiesel have been caught lying so many times they have lost all credibility. Dozens of big time witnesses that have had their stories made into books and films have been caught lying and deceiving everyone. Just Google it. There was also a photographic exhibition of the atrocities against jews, where they found out that many of the photographs had been altered! One had smoke from the chimneys drawn onto the photo to show how jews were being burnt, another photo was cut in two and portrayed a "woman with a child being shot by a German", while reality (original larger photo) was that the German guard was protecting her against other soldiers. The last one was a photo of "jews waiting for the trains to Auschwitz", which in reality was Germans waiting for food-trains after the war had ended.

Gorvald - Show me the links to your proof. Not "witness testimony" or faked documents. Real proof, like what happened to the 6 million bodies? Why is the gaschamber in Auschwitz a replica? Why didn't the red cross report any gassing when they visited the camps? Why didn't the Allied bombers see any mass killings/piles of bodies/anything when they flew over the camps and took detailed pictures? Why did they have to torture the "confessions" out of people who would receive less sentencing if they cooperated? Why was Sikorski, Patton and Lindbergh killed? Why did they lie about lampshades, soap and miniature heads? Why is it illegal to discuss the holocaust, but not anything else in history? I'm waiting.

That is an interesting question. The muslims will be removed from Europe. That is clear. What role the jews of Europe want in this is unclear. When the communists came to kill, rape and take over Europe the jews embraced it and helped them. The jews have been the foremost proponents of multiculturalism, rap music, teenage sex, the abolishment of European family values and against Christianity. Now the jews have become the victims of their own actions, when the muslims hate them. Will they learn from the past? Will they stop being traitors to their hosts? I hope so. If not, then history will repeat itself.
