Not sure if this works, i mounter with daemon tools and installed the game, but when i got to play it, it says to insert disc 1, wich is what is mounted.any help would be awsome

that i am not sure how to fix, i get the same issue when i pop the original cd(s) in, i was hoping somebody who knows more then myself about computers would be able to help out

If it doesn't work then why do people still seed?
There isn't a NoCD patch in existence for this game, but you might could poke around in the Registry to find where it points to your CDROM drive, then change it to a path on the hard drive and copy the data files over.
If anyone has successfully run this game (from this torrent), please advise the community. Thanks.

Go to the exe TLCTour properties. Click the compatibility tab. Check the box that says "run this program in compatibility for:" Select Windows 95. Also click the box that says run in 256 colors. Run the exe and make sure to reinstall the program, even if you've installed it before.
Aaand that worked for me, so I hope it'll work for you guys

I have windows xp, and i tried installing this, i even put its properties to open as windows 95 with 256 bit color. and it doesnt work. anyone know how to install this?

i found out how to do it on microsoft home edition, you have to go to "my computer" and when you see the CD drives the oregan trail icon should be there,and you have to left click on it and go to "explore" and change the compatibility to windows 95 and 256 color, mostly like mizychan said : ), but i just wanted to get across that that is what you have to do if you have microsoft home edition

i almost got that wroong, you have to click on the oregon trail icon in "my computer than find the setup icon (the computer one, theres another one without an icon with it) and left click, and find the explore and change the compatibility settings as mentioned before

I'm in a bit of a stick with this game. When I try to install it, it'll only install disc one without the other two. Is that supposed to happen, and if not, how do I get it to ask for the other discs?

If it doesn't work then you use in Windows 95 or 98. If you can't do that learn how to use VMWare.

I Just installed this on Windows 95. INSTALLS AND RUNS PERFECTLY.
To get it to work in Windows 95 you need VMWare or Virtual PC. If you still can't get it to work even on Windows 95 you either didn't run the virtual machine right or you're fucked.

I figured out how to get it to work. First you have to mount all three of the .iso files with mounting software, then you have to do what Mizy and Infoseeker said.
Don't forget to start the game using TLCtour.exe in the mounted .iso.
