Talk about exceptional movie-making. Not too shabby a directorial debut for John Huston. Not to mention acting; as one example, compare Mary Astor in this picture to her in "Dodsworth," released five years earlier.As the tag line so aptly puts it, "The, uh, stuff that dreams are made of." Indeed; one of the all-time greats.
