so the post before says this doesnt do CID and security unlock, but can it do a SIM unlock?

Not to be cheap, but this really sucks. The phone has been released 2 years now, and there is no way to freely unlock it???
As the other guy said, step 2 will not work, it just says "communicating with device" then it does nothing else, and I tried it a million times. Weird part is, it checks for the IMEI then ESET says it's trying to access the Internet. Hope my IMEI # hasn't been stolen.
Anywayz, must be a way to unlock this thing for free. SOmeone point me to it, plz :|
