use DosBox to run this game I have NFS 1,2, and 3 they all require me to use DosBox to play them anything from NFS4 and up don't require you to play using DosBox and yes DosBox runs on vista

It can't b the answer as Oranga gave, that i need 4 gb ram, couse this game worked on a very old computer, 128 mb ram!
I run w7 (it works fine to install and stuff on w7)
And i have 2 gb ram. It SHOULD b enough...

It doesn't work with win 7 64, because the installer isn't 64 bit compatible. Had this problem with NFSIII but found a patch to fix it. Can't find one for this game. I'll have to play it on my older laptop. Just a heads up for those with win 7 64.

and when i directly started game that insufficiant memory error which others also facing occurs

Instructions on how to install this torrent and get the game working:
1) Download the torrent
2) Download Daemon Tools Lite
3) Mount the .iso file with Daemon Tools
4) Install the game
5) Play the game. If you get the memory error, move on to step 6).
6) Download http://slil.ru/27798066
7) Copy the two files into your Need For Speed II Folder
8) Run the game using nfsfix.cmd
Have fun with an amazing classic of a racing game !
