This is a great antivirus program although i updated and it doesnt work anymore, will have to run it without the program update as this seems to effect the keys. :( looks also that avast are cracking down on this keygen. should work fine without the main program update.

Hey i just got this torrent and it seems to working fine. One question, when u use the keygen you get 3 serial keys. Avast 2 years ago was not as good as it is now that's why the pro version was free (well the hacked keys were allowed), Avast IS NOT a memory hog like most others, another good app. is Dr. Web.
Avast home basic with IE8 is a good choice for now , a few legit keys will leak out soon.

It's a good anti-virus.
I just received a message from Avast saying that my key was pirated or illegal. They give you an "amnesty" period of 15 days to change it. Then I guess they stop updating your program.
I just changed my key with the keygen again... I'll let you know if it doesn't work ;) !

Hmm... I think I did it ! Quite an easy maneuver but it seems to be working :
When you get the red box from Avast, click on it. It will open their webpage. Choose the "home version" option so they'll send you a free key.
Change your key with the one they sent you. Avast will reboot your computer. You have now a fully working Home (free) Avast version, perfectly legal.
Now, the cool part :
open the keygen, select "Client" and generate. Copy the newly generated key into Avast. Reboot again.
My version is now back to Pro Avast, with an expiration date set in 2015, and updates until 2017. I don't know how long it's gonna last but it's worth a shot !

This shit gives you a trojan virus (Keygen), freezes your computer making you force shut down, Malwarebytes antimalware found a trojan virus trying to start, luckily it has good detection/removal rates next time people just buy the fucking product if you like it. Hi, I am using Avast 4.8 pro, but since Avast 5 came, twice a day I get the pop-up window that urges me to update to Avast 5. I tried upgrading once, but then the old subscription/key (made by one of the successfully working key generators found here ;-) .. wasn't valid on Avast 5 pro when upgrading.
I am really satisfied with Avast 4 and don't really want to upgrade so to the point: Twice a day (at least I) get two pop-up windows prompting me to upgrade to Avast 5. I've tried entering the Avast settings so that I don't get two pop-up windows a day to promptly upgrade to Avast 5, but I don't manage to get rid of the pop-up window under the settings.
So either...
1: It is possible to find a setting that removes the (promt to upgrade) pop-up window (and if that is case then I hope someone would enlighten me on how to do so) or...
2: It is not possible to get rid of the upgrade pop-up windows while running Avast 4x, and one has to live with it.
(One thing is for sure: I personally don't want to live with the pop-up windows and will then instead install some other anti-virus program ;)
Anyone can confirm the first point and/or the latter? Any olution etc?
