The August 2003 CD contains 600 of the most popular books from Project Gutenberg. Titles include: 1001 Arabian Nights, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Christmas Carol, Cinderella, Gulliver's Travels, Hamlet, Jungle Book, Oliver Twist, Paradise Lost, Rob Roy, Works of Edgar Allen Poe and even The Bible. Our 2010 DL DVD offers more titles and a much improved index but this file provides the best of their earlier content in a smaller format. HTML versions of many titles are listed on the website an often contain scans of the original graphics. While resale of this file is prohibited the books are completely legal as is their distribution. Most works are public domain classic works and other titles with expired copyright. Each file contains specific information. Many additional electronic books can be found at gutenberg.org. Gutenberg books are offered in a vanilla text format.
