what it seems is, that this was first releasede R1 in 3 dvds with only 13 episodes (WHY?)
now it is being released as season 1 part 1 (episodes 1-14) and season 1 part 2 (episodes (14-26), which is not even really correct as far as japanese releases (season 1 was 14 epsodes)
leave it to overseas ditributors to screw up as much as possible.
i have no idea what they might have done to fit their packaging scheme (like when samurai 7's last episode, which was an hour was chopped into 2 half hour episodes).
