There is no way that you could get a virus from this. If people could get the ps3 to run unsigned sony code, then the ps3 would have to be hacked.And since every gaming pirate on the internet has still yet to find a way to do this, this is not a possibility. If this fw is not what the uploader says it is, then the ps3 will reject it and that will be it.
