This is trial with patch I believe.
The Autodesk® 3ds Max® 2010 30-day trial software is a fully functional version of 3ds Max software that provides free** access to 3ds Max for noncommercial use.
The 3ds Max trial software is a 32-bit application available for the Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional operating system.
So this probably is not what we need.
Hope someone will post full release with 32-bit and x64 versions.

For People having problems installing just go into the actual disk by exploring it's folders.
TO install the 3ds go into the folder main then 32bit and click the install.
For the other stuff that you need it's in the the folder support in the main folder of the disk.
after install go into the crack and install it.

For anyone having troubles with installation, just do as hastengel said, earlier, and also: If at the end of the installation, you get an error of the style "Failed to install the Anchor service" or somethin' that makes the installation roll back, and you are on Windows Vista, just turn off the user account control, restart the machine, and retry the installation. (You can turn the UAC back on, when done.)

What would really help people would be if the explanation were written in plain English. Some people do not know how this stuff works.nn1. Mount the using Daemon tools (or whatever you use)nn2. Navigate to my computer, right click on Drive (X:) and then click explore or open.nn3. When this file opens navigate to Main \\ 32bit \\ 3dsMax2010_32-bi.msi and run.nn4. Install the programme as normal.nn5. Once the installation has finished go back to the folder and navigate to Crack / adlmint.dll.nn6. Right click on this file and copy it. nn7. Go to \'My Computer\' and navigate to Program Files (x86) \\ Autodesk \\ 3ds Max 2010 and paste that file here.nn8. You\'re finished!nnDiiGiiTAL.

Those who are failing to install by seeing the message "failed to install/uninstall the anchor service" on windows vista or windows 7 do the following: go to Control Panel -> System and Security -> Change User Account Control settings. Then you will see a slider, drag the slider at the very bottom where it says "Never notify". Restart your PC. Install 3d studio max. You can put the system and security settings to the previous default setting once you complete installation sucessfully.

If you get insert cd1 message just copy/upack the CD/Iso to a folder on your computer and it will work ;)

Got it working. Mount the CD and copy all of it's content to a folder, like on ur desktop. Then when that is done, run the setup or 3dsMax2010_32-bit, which is in the main folder, and install it like anything else. When it's done, use the crack. Copy the file in the Crack folder and simply copy and paste it into the Autodesk 3d max folder :D Then run the program as administrator (At least for Vista and mine sake) and it should be working :D
Now, on a other note:
It says unregistred version in the top of my window when i use 3D Max... So will I get a 30-day trial? or is it working... Someone answer me :D

When asked to log in with 000-00000000 Serial Number and Product Key 00000.
Continue Intallation normally.
When installation is finished, substitute adlmint.dll file in the program folder.
