Oltre alla selezione dei campionati da simulare e all'immissione dei dati anagrafici vi verrà chiesto se creare un club da zero e portarlo dai campi di periferia fino alla Champions League, piuttosto che giocare come vero e proprio Player Manager, detto anche più comunemente "allenatore sul campo". Se poi non vi bastasse gestire la sola vita sui campi da gioco, viene anche data l'opportunità di mettere su famiglia o magari simulare la sregolata esistenza dell'allenatore viveur, dedito alla bella vita e al lusso sfrenato. Magari cercando di non perdere tutto in borsa. Attenendosi alla sezione calcistica - e tralasciando ad esempio il simpatico extra dei quiz - Fifa Manager 10 non vi concede il solo controllo dello spogliatoio ma, anzi, vi darà la possibilità di mettere le mani su quasi ogni singolo aspetto coinvolto nella gestione della squadra in senso più lato. Impossibile non apprezzare il lavoro svolto dai Bright Future con questo ultimo capitolo della serie. Nonostante non vi siano stravolgimenti rispetto allo scorsa edizione, il titolo appare decisamente più rifinito e maturo. Certo, il motore di simulazione delle partite dimostra di avere bisogno di ancora qualche aggiustamento, ma ai fini delle economie di gioco è pur vero che i risultati rimangono tutto sommato verosimili e congruenti alle nostre scelte tecnico-tattiche. Tutto il resto del gioco è poi in grado di offrire ore e ore di divertimento agli appassionati del mondo del pallone e dei titoli gestionali tout-court. L'inclusione dell'inedita modalità multiplayer, inoltre, potrebbe donare a Fifa Manager 10 ulteriore linfa vitale.
