no, the only way you can play this on a softmodded wii is with the newest neogamma. if your wii came with version 4.2, chances are nintendo made it so where you can't play burnt games. hardmodded will work perfectly of course.

For people unaware - Newer wii's cannot read burnt dvds at all - period.
Recommend using neogamma r9. Has so far worked with all gc games on my softmodded wii.
However, if it doesn't work on yours, do try wiigators gamecubebackuplauncher.
Neogamma has some issues with certain cmios updates.
