If you guys are having problems with the software saying that the CD key is already in use, try navigating to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and open up a file called HOSTS with Notepad.EXE. Then at the bottom of the data, add the follow:

When that's added, close and save. You can then clear your DNS cache or restart your computer. Attempt to reinstall again and use your keygen provided. If done correctly, you should be able to install and not have any foreseeable problems! Enjoy.

5. paste serial
6. enabled internet connection
x. I chose to update and after it finished, I have to input a new serial since I guess the old one was invalid or something but was valid before the update. I though I would have to put the serial everytime I opened but I only had to put it one more time(total of 3, once before the update, twice after the update) but the new serial input was long gone after the 3rd try. perfectly fine with Window Vista Home Premium

OMG guyz.In order to disable the internet connection simply PULL the cord from your router/modem or SWITCH IT OFF. You dont need to do something from inside the program or anything else to disable it. Simple enough huh?

9.Run program again and it will gv u invalid serial error..so here is a simple way to override this glitch. Navigate to your firewall (may it be windows firewall or any substitute antivirus inbuilt firewalls) and block the program's (adobe flash CS4's) internet access.
10. generate a new serial with provided keygen..paste it n Enjoy !!

Can someone help me. i could have it open for a while then it gave me the serial number invalid message, and even though i give it a serial number from the keygen and it accepted it, i still get the message when i open it again and now i cant open because it wants a serial number.

to block it from internet go search on the start. start typing firewall (on your language) until you see something like Windwos firewall with advanced security options or something like that. press it then go to outgoing rules or something, then to new rule and there complete the steps and browse to the flash.exe file or whatever it is named save it as blocking, Notice do not use exeption.

You guys are awesome. What the hell would someone who can't figure out how to disable an internet connection want with Adobe Flash? Its comparable to a guy with Down Syndrome asking, "How do I turn on this Super Hadron atom smasher?"
For those of you who are getting an "expired license error", I found an easy fix. Just go into your control panel, select the clock, and roll back the date to 2007. Flash CS4 will now open. Go into the toolbar in flash and click on help tab and deactivate the program. Now close CS4 and restart the program. It will prompt you for a serial number. Use the keygen to generate your serial and enter it in. The program will now work with full functionality and you can even reset the date on your computer.

Just close internet explorer, you can't have it open during the setup. If you believe it's not open close it manually via task manager.

allright for those newbz out there to bypass the the used serial message simply turn off your modem whenever you open Adobe Flash with the internet on. the program checks for validity of key code through the internet, so if you have no internet while it is on, it cant communicate with Adobe.

What i did, which is VERY annoying.
I installed it, worked fine, run the keygen.
Copied the code over worked fine and dandy.
But the when i closed flash and opened it again.
It would ask for a new serial code.
Quite confused by this myself.
Started piddling around a bit.
Only way that works fine is before i run flash again, i would turn the wireless off on my laptop.
So there was no internet connection at all.
After it had loaded up and all that jazz i would turn the wireless back on and it would not ask for a new serial number. All set, but it's annoying having to turn wireless on and off all the time.

You can add the Adobe server to the windows Hosts file to stop it from asking for a new serial (It stops your computer from contacting their server to check that the serial is blacklisted or not).

When you edit host file, if the UAC is enabled, you will get some error message depending on the editor. In that case, save the file in your desktop. Make sure that the host file have no extension. So if you are using notepad, when you save, change the file type from text to “All files option” and file name “hosts” with quotes.
You can paste it before of after the current text. Lines starting with the # symbol is comments.
Save it in desktop. and then Copy and paste the host file in You will get a message box asking to replace the file. Select the replace option.
