PSX PS1 PSOne X-COM UFO Defense (XCOM)

"X-COM: UFO Defense" This game is for the original Playstation 1. *Bin/Cue format. (NTSC) *I know this game works perfect for Playstation emulators. hi all
Cant play this game on any psx emulator with the newest plugin sets. I've searched web and forums finding the same problems but no solution.
The game loads up fine, shows its copyright notice, plays the intro movie and gets to the title screen, at this point the display stops updating.
I can hear the music playing in the background and sound effects in response to hitting the controls but the screen remains locked on the title page.
If I minimise ePSXe and then restore it the screen doesn't bother to redraw anything (not even the title page).
I've tried playing around with options but none seem to help.
Really appreciate any help

Wish I had a solution for you, but I haven't had a problem like that with this game. I did try to rip Rayman for PlayStation and when I would boot up the disc image I had the same problem with that game so I never uploaded it. I'm not sure what the problem is. Sorry.

thank you for this. i had this game for the playstation in 97 and gave it to a now lost friend. this game is tough to find. my pc version only really works well in win 98. and that pc is stored....so thanks again for posting this.this game rocks and if u sell medkits youll make alot of cash as they are about half to the cost produce
