ok people i got like 20 friends on my profile so add me and view my profile then add everyone on my friends list all those people are from pirate bay trying to play the pirate version of L4D if u have everything working add them and u will play online all day.
:::IMPORTANT TIP FOR ONLINE PLAY::: also to the people who cant figure out this is what u do after u got the Multiplayer patch. U log in on steam with your fake account then go to 'MY games" then click on add a none steam game then browse then add RUN_L4D.exe then launch and in game click Shift+Tab to see your friends and you r set for L4D online.

The only thing that matters in this case;
does it work for "playin-w/-friends" or will we get the "Connection with session lost" when tryin to create a lobby? The l4d torrents needs an update by all means necessary, dun really work otherwise. Singleplayer workds fine but not to create an own lobby. Any responds on this?

Heres A way to play ONLINE!!!! I had 3 friendz help figure it out -Sean and Kevin-, we notice'd ping does matter. Find people to join ur network in ur area!!! - This is how to play online with people! 1st go to
once you've downloaded hamachi install it and make sure you set your account lisence to non-commercial.
Run hamashi minimize it then open steam and add left4dead.exe as a non-steam game.
The right click and hit properties and under Target:
at the end it says \left4dead.exe" put - console at the end [make sure you put it after the " or it will fail to load] add people to your friendz that have this cracked version-This will not let you play with people that have the legit copy. hamachi lets you run a lan game off your network so you and ur friends can only play threw hamashi. copy the numbers at the top of hamashi. Run Left 4 Dead Shortcut in steam, once that is open click options,Keyboard/Mouse, then Enable Allow Developer Console. this is where your hamachi ip comes in handy! lol press ` and type connect then paste your ip or your friends ip and hit enter, it takes awhile to load but its only becuase its your first time running this. And there you go, your playing online :)

Crashes.
I mounted the ip-l4d.iso with Deamon Tools on Vista 64-bit, and ran left4dead.exe as admin. After the 1st save point, the game crashed and I got a message that left4dead.exe was trying to access the Internet. I blocked it. The 2nd time around the game crashed within just a few minutes. Haven't tried a 3rd time. My system specs are well above the requirements.

For anybody that gets a black screen after clicking left4dead.exe with no video and only the sound of the menu: All I had to do was minimize the game and AVG was asking if I want to allow the program access to the internet, I just clicked always allow and it started working. (I had to do this twice, once for left 4 dead and once for hl2.exe)

when downloading was complete i downloaded Daemon Tools. i installed it and after i restarted my computer i mounted the iso-file in daemon.
then a new map came up with some files.
1 of those files where a L4D logo. i pressed it and the game started. i wanted to play single player and when im trying to join first map of no mercy campaign, i can se pancho (my game name) has joined the game
BUT
then the screen laggs/freeze and the game closes itself. have i missed something ? hope anyone here can help me, i can only se a glimpse of the map and me joining the game then i have to restart the game.

Fully working torrent!For ALL you noobs,just open "ip-l4d" and make a new folder in your programs/documents and add ALL the files from the zipped winrar package to the new folder,let the damn thing unpack and then you find the .exe!
The .exe reads "left4dead" and has the icon and shit......click it and all will work flawlessly!
I had no problems whatsoever and hope this could help you guys out that are not so keen on pc stuff.Anything else I can help you guys with I will try my best.Remember we are the only tech support that we have,so we must work together as as whole.
