Wow, what a terrible release. The video is badly decimated from either 30000/1001 fps or VFR to 24000/1001 fps resulting in a jerky mess during pans. There's blocks all over any smooth surfaces which leads me to question whether the encoder knows anything about AviSynth and x264. Even more, instead of inverse telecine or at least the application of HIGH QUALITY deinterlacing filters, the video is full of jagged messes. Don't be fooled by the "h.264" label, garbage in = garbage out.

What's more, several files are muxed to MKV with broken indexes making them unseekable. What's more, episode 25 is encoded at 720x240 or so for whatever reason. Please, for the love of god, don't ever encode anything again.

First of all big thanks to the uploader,great job and even better quality.
for all of you that keep complaining about quality i suggest you encode this with xvid. codec in two steps:
1.transform h264 MKV. to h264 AVI. using ALL TO AVI (excellent freeware)
2.encode h264 AVI. ti xvid AVI. using VIRTUALDUBMOD.
what you get is an excellent quality 720x480 xvid avi which is playable on all standalone dvd players players(i ve tryed this myself).

i'm a plug-and-play guy dont really know my way around the computer...any fixes. i did download the "media player classic" player that i read should play the file...any help? its version 6.4.9.0 or whatever. the latest version i could find. thanks.

Thanks for this Torrent. I have been looking for Samurai Jack complete for awhile. The quality is excellent as is in .mkv . I can see others may not be so happy with a conversion to avi. or mp4.
Hey, "Plug and play" guy.... Try a quick free download of "GOM Player" It's an awesome media player that will play the mkv. files beautifully w/o conversions or having to find additional codecs. You will also be very happy with the amount of control it gives you over the sound quality.
I transmit my movies from my XHD to my HTS and I can not be happier with the sound. Hope this helps.

I'm able to view these videos on my computer but for some reason when I try to convert them for my ipod it makes my program (WinAVI iPod Converter) crash, and when I try to convert it to another format with Ojosoft's Total Video Converter it seems to work but in reality it just makes files with the same names with only 80bytes worth. Anyone able to offer any help?

MKV is just a container; the most versatile there is. The codec used is h264. That's all you need to know. If you don't know how to play it or think that it sucks then you shouldn't be on this site.
