New And Changed Features Windows 7 includes a number of new features, such as advances in touch and handwriting recognition, support for virtual hard disks, improved performance on multi-core processors, improved boot performance, DirectAccess, and kernel improvements. Windows 7 adds support for systems using multiple heterogeneous graphics cards from different vendors (Heterogeneous Multi-adapter), a new version of Windows Media Center, a Gadget for Windows Media Center, improved media features, the XPS Essentials Pack and Windows PowerShell being included, and a redesigned Calculator with multiline capabilities including Programmer and Statistics modes along with unit conversion. Many new items have been added to the Control Panel, including ClearType Text Tuner, Display Color Calibration Wizard, Gadgets, Recovery, Troubleshooting, Workspaces Center, Location and Other Sensors, Credential Manager, Biometric Devices, System Icons, and Display. Windows Security Center has been renamed to Windows Action Center (Windows Health Center and Windows Solution Center in earlier builds), which encompasses both security and maintenance of the computer. The default setting for User Account Control in Windows 7 has been criticized for allowing untrusted software to be launched with elevated privileges without a prompt by exploiting a trusted application. Microsoft's Windows kernel engineer Mark Russinovich acknowledged the problem, but noted that malware can also compromise a system when users agree to a prompt. Windows 7 also supports images in the RAW image format through the addition of Windows Imaging Component-enabled image decoders, which enables raw image thumbnails, previewing and metadata display in Windows Explorer, plus full-size viewing and slideshows in Windows Photo Viewer and Window Media Center. The taskbar has seen the biggest visual changes, where the Quick Launch toolbar has been replaced with pinning applications to the taskbar. Buttons for pinned applications are integrated with the task buttons. These buttons also enable the Jump Lists feature to allow easy access to common tasks. The revamped taskbar also allows the reordering of taskbar buttons. To the far right of the system clock is a small rectangular button that serves as the Show desktop icon. This button is part of the new feature in Windows 7 called Aero Peek. Hovering over this button makes all visible windows transparent for a quick look at the desktop. In touch-enabled displays such as touch screens, tablet PCs, etc., this button is slightly wider to accommodate being pressed with a finger. Clicking this button minimizes all windows, and clicking it a second time restores them. Additionally, there is a feature named Aero Snap, that automatically maximizes a window when it is dragged to the top of the screen. Dragging windows to the left/right edges of the screen allows users to snap documents or files on either side of the screen for comparison between windows. When a user moves windows that were maximized using Aero Snap, the system restores their previous state automatically. This functionality is also accomplished with keyboard shortcuts. Unlike in Windows Vista, window borders and the taskbar do not turn opaque when a window is maximized with Windows Aero applied. Instead, they remain translucent. Removed Features A number of capabilities and certain programs that were a part of Windows Vista are no longer present or have been changed, resulting in the removal of certain functionalities. These include the classic Start Menu user interface, some taskbar features, Windows Explorer features, Windows Media Player features, Windows Ultimate Extras and InkBall. Four applications bundled with Windows Vista — Windows Photo Gallery, Windows Movie Maker, Windows Calendar and Windows Mail — are not included with Windows 7, but applications with mostly similar functionality are instead available for free in a separate package called Windows Live Essentials which can be found on the Microsoft website. Ive downloaded this and burned it to a disk. Ive also run that microsoft program that tells me which windows 7 32 bit or 64 i should use, it said i can run 64 bit but i would have to do a clean. and whenever i try using the disk it gives me an error saying "This installation disk isnt compatible with your version of windows. to upgrade, you need the correct installation disk..."

In Order To Do A Upgrade, You Haft To Have Windows Vista Already Installed, You Can't Upgrade If You Have Any Operating System B 4 Windows Vista. But If You Do A Clean Installation (Format Existing Operating System) Then You Shouldn't Have Any Problems. When Using Nero, You Can Only Burn The .Iso File By It's Self. You Can Copy The Activation & The Keys On Too A Jump Or Flash Drive Or Burn Them Onto A CD. But Also Inside The .Iso File Its Self I've Added Both The Activation & The Keys. After Windows Is Installed Keep The DVD Inside The DVD Rom, Go To "Computer" And Right On The DVD, And Click "Open" You Will See The "Activation" & "Keys" If You Don't Do It That Way Just Make Sure The Activation & The Keys Make It Into The Same Place Or Activation Will Not Work.

Despite the mix-up in Title and Tags this is a perfectly good 64-bit installation. Don't panic when it seems to hang doing nothing for the first 4-6 minutes. Go open a bottle of white wine. Then it hangs again with the greeting "Setup is Starting" Have a few more glasses and soon after the bottle is finished you'll have your x64 drivers to update.

So I downloaded the file using uTorrent and came up with 2 txt files (Instructions and Keys), a Windows 7 Activation program and a RAR file. Can you please tell me which file I have to burn to CD as I do not have a .iso file anywhere. I also opened the RAR file win WinRAR and still I could't find an .iso file

Open The Activator And You Will See 3 Tabs At The Top... "Installation" "Profile" "Advanced Options" In The "Profile" Tab, The Top Two Drop Down Tabs "SLIC" & "Certificate" MUST MATCH! Etc... HP & HP. The Third Drop Down Tab Can Be Anything You Pick, Try Using All 3 As "HP".
And Back On The Top On The "Advanced Options" The Default Settings Is Only The "First Check Box" Is Checked. Non Of The Others Are Checked, You Might Try Checking The "Second" Check Box.
Then Go Back To The Top On The "Installation" Tab, Click "Install" The Activation Crack Will Go Away And Will Run As A Background Task.... Wait 1-2 To 3 Minutes And It Should Pop Back Up Letting You Know That Activation Is Complete, Restart Your Computer And Everything Should Be Ok :)

Yes I Always Reccomend Doing A Clean Install (Format Existing Operating System) But In Your Case You Don't Have A Operating System On There To Format, So Just Burn This .Iso File To A Blank DVD-R Or DVD-RW And Restart The Computer, Boot From The DVD ROM (You May Haft To Change Your Bios Settings In Order To Change Your Boot Sequence) :)

I have tried to upgrade to Windows 7, via a disc given to me by a friend. But it turned out it was a disc only for 32-bit and I have 64-bit.
So now when I start my computer after windows 7 logo, I get "black screen". And nothing happens.
So a friend of mine have to burn out the program to a DVD. is there anything I need to think about.

But Also If You Have Bad Sectors On Your Hard Drive Any Where, You Will Have The Same Problem That You're Having. My computer randomly crashes (got 4gb ram so its not because of that) Have no extra programs innstalled, so no third-part program that make my computer crash. It just freeze the whole computer inclusive the sound ! What can it be??
Second thing. The computer won't any longer see a OS DVD as an OS DVD anymore when i start my computer, so i don't have a chance to format my computer anymore, wtf please help??? I've set the boot setup in the BIOS to DVD as first priority, still nothing. HELP???

It also mentions that it checks the state of the validation of your product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It has a size of 1.1MB!
This Windows Update IS NOT related to the "KB971033" and it must be a different one that MS uses to check the originality of all the OS.
ATENTION/DISCLAIMER: This Update IS NOT related to the uploads that Computer_User does because I did not even installed any of his Software on my system...it just showed up on my system which at the moment STILL has the original OS installed (XP PRO).

Got some probs.
I've burned the .iso to a dvd. Tryed put it into the computer and started the program.
A message poped up and said:
This version isn't compatible with your version of windows. To upgrade, u need the correct installation disc. For more information check you computers's system information. To install a new version of windows, restart (boot) your computer using the installation disc and then chose custom (advanced).
Whats the problem?

@Iwannabefamous Are you 100% sure that your CPU supports 64-bit?
To find out if your processor is 64-bit-capable, do the following:
1.
Open Performance Information and Tools by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Performance Information and Tools.

Click View and print details.
3.
In the System section, you can see what type of operating system you're currently running under System type. Under 64-bit capable, you can see whether you can run a 64-bit version of Windows. So thats not the prob.

@Iwannabefamous Yeah i had some problems with burning it also so i did this: Its very easy to use but you need a usb flash drive with atleast 4 gigabytes on it. I myelf did not have one so i ran to my local store and bought one for 10 euros. And when you have the windows on it just restart your pc. (make sure that the usb drive is in yer pc) Then go to the boot menu by pressing F8 repeatedly (if you press it only once its not surely going to the boot menu) when its showing the motherboard screen and select the usb drive from the boot menu. Then the install should start. Remember to backup all the files you want to keep!

No thank YOU for the great torrent! :D But it could be that iwannabefamous is having the same problem that i did because i couldnt install it either from an dvd and he said that he checked that his windows is 64-bit compatible and he was trying it straight from windows (i assume) and if youre changin bits it doesnt go that way... He should try the usb flash drive install. Worked like a charm for me.

Thanks for the torrent, just one question. I previously had a 32 bit win7 which seemed similar to this (got it from a friend).
I was able to get windows updates and downloads from the microsoft site and pass the genuine windows shit.
Will this torrent be the same in microsoft thinking it is genuine, letting me get updates ect?

Thanks Computer-User, for this torrent, I tried another w7u from another uploader, with the windows loader installed in the iso, but it wouldn't install the o/s, kept hanging at 6% on the unpacking files. It may have been a corupt download or something simple, but I got your iso and the loader that was in a seperate file, and it worked fine, I kept from installing the KB971033 update and installed all others to present, and windows is still valid, so thanks for this upload it works, and good, everyone just listen to what he says for keeping it valid, it works.

Hey, I got a question. This installed well on my HP G60-549DX... But after I installed on an Acer Aspire 5542G-1757, the wireless disappeared. When I go to network connections and try to make a new one, only dial up and broadband appear, there is no more wireless selection. There a little yellow triangle with a "!" in it on my drivers list under "Network Controller" I can't seem to figure it out. Any idea how I can get my wireless back?

I downloaded this version (September 2010) because of the "simplicity" of the instruction and very few files. Install then activate only.
I know that we must avoid 971033. But I just learned today that Windows 7 SP1 can detect non-genuine versions.
Have you find a round about on this? Do I have to avoid SP1 too?
Please give update us or suggest a solution to install SP1 while remaining genuine.
