KeyGen didn't work for me. Tried the version attatched to this torrent, also tried downloading latest version from thier web site and 64 bit version from their web site. Maybe they have updated their activator?

My need for sync was so bad i tried to write some random number. It worked.
Example:
222-333-444-222

This KeyGen is not working for me.
I've downloaded it three times, without
any problem.
It generates a rubbish code like this.

which of course is not valid.
I should either be a 10-digit Order ID
or
a 12-digit Order Code
in this format
xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx
The KeyGen is only making one attempt.
After that is does not react at all. It has to be
closed with the ESC-key and when started
again, generates the same rubbish code.

Ok, enough of these unclear instructions!!!
HERE IS HOW YOU ACTIVATE:
* Help Menu > Activate
* Select the SECOND option
* Enter in ANY username you like
* Enter in 222-333-444-222
* It then goes to the next screen
* Enter in any email address, any address, phone number etc
* Open the keygen and click Generate
* Paste in the code

Works perfect if you have not tried to register unsuccessfully.
The keygen and program work on a fresh install of windows. After you install this version you can install the newest version from their website right over this and get full functionality.
If you have installed the newest version (8.x) and have tried to register using the the keygen it will not work. Then if you uninstall and reinstall this version it keeps the license information somewhere so if you try to use this version it will give you the following error " Error: Cannot decode Activation Key: Decode: cannot find pattern"
Has anyone figured out how to remove GoodSync and the license info it leaves behind completely? I have tried erasing all registries and program files manually but it still somehow knows how long I have run the trial.

Oh yeh and Comodo detects a false positive because the keygen access the program file to create a key.

To Others: It worked for me. I followed the way of thecham, then, upgraded to 8.2.7.7. When I viewed status in HELP AND ABOUT, I got PRO VERSION of 8.2.7.7. Then, I changed the year and restarted the software. Still got good status. Good luck to you and please post comments that help others. Thanks.
