Can anyone confirm this is Kara no Shoujo? I am skeptical because I know that mangagamer did not release Kara no Shoujo with voices due to expenses.

It didn't have the voices as I said it was excluded from the official english release. The voices were patched in from the original Japanese

just wanted to mention, this is a beta version of the game.
it has a minor, but pretty annoying bug that reveals the character's endgame profile right when you first meet them, sometimes giving out important plot-related spoilers.

@yarrmateys I know it's almost 2 years later, but that's fixed removing the content from the "savedata" folder. It seems that the uploader forgot to clean his previous progress.

For some reason my laptop gets real hot when I run this, I mean it's about as bad as when I run a 3D game like Civilization V or Skyrim, this seems pretty strange for what's essentially a bunch of still images. Is this game known to be exceptionally demanding or something? If so, why?
