The episode "The Car" has a field order problem about 2/3 of the way through, continuing to the end. :(
Haven't been able to find a good copy of that episode anywhere, unless the 640x480 Quicktime version is good. Unfortunately those haven't been available on the Exploratorium site for years.

Dammit, you're right - that's irritating.
I see the problem starting around 19:40 of 25:50, though, so it's only actually polluting about a fifth of the episode, and the audio's fine. If I get a better version of this episode I'll make a separate torrent of it.

The car video on Exploratorium was messed up too. I grabbed them years ago when they were available. Also, they do still have the videos online, but only the Iphone and 3GPP phone versions. So does http://sciencezero.4hv.org/tslom.htm
The problem is the source was bad. I vaguely remember Tim talking about it on a forum where the original BBC tapes got destroyed and all that was left were copies with the bad episode.
So unless someone has a videotape they recorded of the original broadcast or very early rerun and they are willing to dig it out and cap it for everyone, than no, there is no good version of The Car to be had and never will be. :(
